Objectives of Customer Document Portal (CDP)

Southeast Bank PLC. has been providing efficient banking service to its customers since the
inception. Day by day, the Bank is introducing more value-added services so that Customers
can get services easily from home and abroad.
Customers submit their TIN Certificate at the time of Bank Account opening or later at a
convenient time at customer’s home branch of SEBPLC. Furthermore, Customers need to
submit the latest proof of submission of Income Tax Return (PSR) every year at any adjacent
branch of SEBPLC. to avoid deduction of excess Tax amount. Moreover, to collect printed
account statements, customers need to visit branch of SEBPLC.
For better customer experience, The Bank is introducing a web portal named, Customer
Document Portal (CDP) for the valued clients of the Bank to upload TIN Certificate and the
proof of submission of Income Tax Return (PSR) and download account statement of last half
year and last Tax year (financial year).

1. Portal Link
Go to https://cdp.southeastbank.com.bd/. The link will also be visible at Southeast Bank
PLC. official website. Following window will appear:

2. Captcha
Enter captcha and click “Submit” button. If captcha is correct, the system will proceed to
the next step otherwise, it will generate an error message.

3. Terms & Condition


Read the terms and conditions carefully and click “I Agree with Terms & Conditions”
button. The main menu of the portal will appear.

4. Main Menu
Choose an option from the above menu.

4.1. TIN Certificate Upload


Click “TIN Certificate Upload”. The following window will appear.

4.1.1. Enter “15-digit Bank Account Number” and click “Next” button. The system
automatically checks in Core Banking System (CBS) whether the inserted data
is correct or not as well as whether any TIN Certificate already exists or not for
the provided account number. If TIN Certificate does not exist and Account
Information is correct, the following window will appear otherwise it will
provide a warning message.

4.1.2. Select OTP Gateway between Two Option “Email” and “Mobile”, enter
respective email address or mobile number and click “Next” Button. The system
will check whether the inserted data is correct or not (according to customer
profile of CBS). If correct, then the system will send a One Time Password to
the selected OTP gateway. Otherwise, it will provide a warning message.

4.1.3. Insert the provided OTP and click “Next” button. If you didn’t receive the OTP,
then click “Resend” button to get a new OTP. (Note that, “Resend” button will
be activated after 05 minutes as well as the validity of an OTP is 05 Minutes.)
System will check whether the inserted OTP is correct or not. If correct, the
following window will pop up. Otherwise, it will provide a warning message.

4.1.4. Enter “e-TIN” number, attach e-TIN soft copy (file format- jpg/ jpeg/ png/ pdf;
file size: maximum 5MB) and click “Submit” button. If the e-TIN soft copy
matches the requirement, it will proceed to the next window otherwise provide
a warning message.

4.1.5. If everything is alright, then click “OK” and it will show you successful message
otherwise click “Cancel” button.

4.1.6. After successful uploading, it will need manual approval from branch end. Two
Business Days needed to process the upload request. If the uploaded document
is approved, then customer will get an acknowledgement message (to the
Customers’ selected gateway). Customer will get an acknowledgement message
(to the Customers’ selected gateway) in the case of rejection also.

4.2. Tax Certificate & PSR Upload


From the main menu click “Tax Certificate & PSR Upload”. The following window
will appear.

4.2.1. Select “TAX Asses. Year” between Two Option (one is latest tax assessment
year, and another is previous tax assessment year), Enter “15-Digit Account
Number”, and click “Next” button. The system will check Account Number
whether it is correct or not as well as whether any TAX Return Document
already exists or not on the selected TAX Assessment Year for the provided
account number. If the system finds that the Customer’s Account Information is
correct and no document exists on the selected TAX Assessment Year for the
account number, it will proceed to the next step otherwise it will show warning
message for respective field.

4.2.2. Select OTP Gateway between Two Option “Email” and “Mobile”, enter
respective email address or mobile number and click “Next” Button. The system
will check whether the inserted data is correct or not (according to customer
profile of CBS). If correct, then the system will send a One Time Password to
the selected gateway. Otherwise, it will provide a warning message. Note that,
if the browser session exists for TIN Certificate Upload and OTP already
verified, it will skip the OTP Verification steps.

4.2.3. Insert the provided OTP and click “Next” button. If you miss the OTP then click
the “Resend” button to get new OTP. (Note that, “Resend” button will be
activated after 05 minutes as well as the validity of an OTP is 05 Minutes.)
System will check whether the inserted OTP is correct or not. If correct, the
following window will pop up. Otherwise, it will provide a warning message.

4.2.4. Customers’ “ETIN Number” will be shown. If the TIN Number is correct,
please select “Document Type”, attach respective soft copy (file format- jpg/
jpeg/ png/ pdf; file size: maximum 5MB) and click “Submit” button. If the
uploaded document matches all the conditions described in the Terms &
Condition step, then it will proceed to the next step otherwise the system will
provide a warning message.

4.2.5. If everything is alright, then click “OK” and it will show you successful message
otherwise click “Cancel” button.

4.2.6. After successful uploading, it will need manual approval from branch end. Two
Business Days needed to process the upload request. If the uploaded document
is approved, then the customer will get an acknowledgement message (to the
Customers’ selected gateway). Customer will get an acknowledgement message
(to the Customers’ selected gateway) in the case of rejection also.

4.3. Account Statement Download


From the main menu click the “Account Statement Download”. The following
window will appear.

4.3.1. Select “Statement Date Range” between Two Options (one is last income year,
and another is Last Six Month’s Statement), Enter “15-Digit Account
Number”, and click “Next” button. The system will check Account Number. If
the system finds that the Customer’s Account Information is correct, then it will
proceed for the next step otherwise it will show a warning message.

4.3.2. Select OTP Gateway between Two Option “Email” and “Mobile”, enter
respective email address or mobile number and click “Next” Button. The system
will check whether the inserted data is correct or not (according to customer
profile of CBS). If correct, then the system will send a One Time Password to
the selected gateway. Otherwise, it will provide a warning message.

4.3.3. Insert the provided OTP and click “Next” button. If you miss the OTP then click
the “Resend” button to get new OTP. (Note that, “Resend” button will be
activated after Five Minutes as well as the validity of an OTP is Five Minutes.)
System will check whether the inserted OTP is correct or not. If correct, the
following window will pop up. Otherwise, it will provide a warning message.

4.3.4. Account Title along with number of remaining downloads will appear (Note
that each statement can be downloaded Five times from this system. After
that Customer must visit his/her branch to get statement). Click “Continue”
button. The Customer’s desired statement will appear to be downloaded.
