NARRATIVE REPORT

This Narrative Report provides an overview of my Work Immersion experience, which took
place from May 24, 2023 to June 02, 2023. This Work Immersion Program aimed to provide
students with a real-world understanding of the professional environment and to enhance our
knowledge and skills in our chosen field. During this period, I was assigned to Topserve Service
Solutions Incorporation or (TSSI) where I worked in the Human Resources Department as an
intern, Topserve Service Solutions Incorporation is a well-established organization here in our
country and known for its Service Provider in any place. They have been operating for almost
28 years and have a strong reputation for excellence when it comes to service providing. The
company’s mission is to create a dedicated professional workforce to cater to business partner’s
requirements and to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.

I was able to gain practical knowledge during my days in the actual immersion program in
Topserve and apply what I’ve learned inside the classroom in a professional setting. And during
my work immersion, I was assigned to the Human Resources Department which gave me a
firsthand understanding of the industry and its operation. I had the opportunity to observe
professionals in my field of interest, closely witnessing their daily tasks, problem – solving
strategies, and decision – making process. This exposure helped me understand the practical
application of theories learned in the classroom.

As my immersion progressed, I was entrusted with more hands-on tasks that is relevant to my
field and I actively participated in sorting out some files in the stockroom, allowing me to
contribute to the team’s goals and objectives. This hands-on experience really enhanced my
technical skills and problem-solving abilities. Initially, adjusting to the new work environment and
company culture was challenging. However, through observation, active participation, and
seeking guidance from mentors, I quickly assimilated into the organization’s dynamics.

My Work Immersion at TSSI has been invaluable in terms of professional growth, industry
exposure, and personal development. It provided me with practical insights in to my chosen field
and allowed me to apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios. I am grateful to the
entire team at Topserve Human Resources Department for their support and guidance through
my days in work immersion. This experience has further solidified my passion and has
motivated me to pursue a career in this field. I am confident that the skills and knowledge I have
gained will contribute to my future success as I continue on my professional journey.

My skills in my chosen field of expertise were strengthened through Work Immersion.


And also, I was able to go to places that I have not been to not until this Work
Immersion Program happened. And I’m happy because somehow, I'm learning to travel
alone. I was able to explore in the area of topserve and interact with people of all
personalities. I'm happy because they entrusted me with the files and let me learn on
my own so that I can just do my job properly without asking them so many questions.

Even though there’s many hustle and that there are times when I'm tired of finding files,
It's still a good feeling because I learned something new that will be useful for me. and
even though I hear rumors that there is a ghost that shows up there and even though I
myself and my classmates witnessed it, I just ignore it and continue what I'm doing. At
first, I was still a little afraid to move anything because something might break or
happen to the equipment, but for a long time I have been enjoying the jobs given to me.

To summarize, I am very grateful for new experiences that I will cherish the most and
apply it to my everyday life. I am also very grateful to the HR Team because they teach
me many things and and without them, I won't be able to learn in that job and I won't be
able to do my job properly. I am also grateful for the long patience they gave me
especially to Sir.Gerald, Ma'am.Kristine, and Sir.Christian because they guided and
helped me adopt in the task, they gave me. I was really happy to learn something new
and I hope that someday I can go at topserve and visit them.
