1 Tsunami Museum
The Tsunami Museum is a historical and educational
monument dedicated to the devastating 2004 Indian
Ocean tsunami. Its unique architecture resembles a
tsunami wave, complete with narrow and dark corridors
that dramatize the terrifying moments when the disaster
struck, while bright and open spaces represent hope and
life after the disaster. Upon entering the museum, visitors
are immediately taken to understand the destruction
caused by the tsunami through the narrow and dark
"tsunami corridor". The sound of flowing water and the
dim lighting in this corridor are intended to create the
atmosphere when the tsunami struck, providing an
immersive and emotional experience.
2 Lhoknga Beach
Administratively, Lampuuk Beach is located in
Lhoknga District, so it is actually a bit ambiguous to
distinguish between Lampuuk Beach and Lhoknga Beach.
However, people generally call the area behind the Lhoknga
Golf Course to the seaside park after the Andalas Cement
Factory Complex 'Lhoknga Beach'. The term Lampuuk
Beach is specifically used for the stretch of beach that
stretches from Babah Satu to Babah Empat, and the
positions of these beaches are close to each other.
3 PLTD APUNG
Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Diesel (PLTD) Apung is
a silent witness to the devastating tsunami that hit Aceh.
A ship with a length of 63 meters and a weight of 2,600
tons has a power generator engine with a power capacity
of up to 10.5 Megawatts. As if by magic, the enormous
tsunami waves were able to drag the PLTD Apung ship up
to 5 kilometers from Ulee Lheue Port. Until now, the ship
is located in Punge Blang Cut Village, Banda Aceh.

intangible cultural heritage of Indonesia by the Ministry of
Education, Culture, Research, and Technology in 2008.
8 Sie Reboh
Stewed meat or in Aceh language called sie
reuboh, is not just meat that is boiled. It's a culinary
specialty of the aceh besar district that has been passed
down from generation to generation and is a must-have
meal when Ramadan arrives. Because, this culinary can
last up to one month.
In recent years, sie reuboh as a culinary menu sold
in stalls, let alone restaurants, has become increasingly
rare. It loses its prestige to capture chicken, or penyet
chicken for example.
9 Mie Aceh
Mie Aceh are a spicy noodle dish typical of Aceh in
Indonesia. Thick yellow noodles with slices of beef,
mutton or seafood (shrimp and squid) are served in a
savory and spicy curry-like soup. The aceh noodles are
usually sprinkled with fried onions and served with chips,
sliced shallots, cucumber and lime.
In Aceh, due to the exclusivity of food in each
region, Mie Aceh only refers to fried noodles, while the
term Mie Aceh is only used outside Aceh province.

Acehnese people often make timphan as the main
dish to entertain guests who visit their homes during Eid.

shopping for various needs to be able to serve
timphan on Eid al-Fitr.
9 Depik Dedah
Aceh Tengah, a region rich in culture and culinary
delights, has an unmissable specialty called Depik Dedah.
