Project Requirements
First Week after Mid term
1- Full Layout of the both constructions (Shed &Trussed Frame)
Structural only (Plan - Elevation - Side Views - End Gable if
applicable)
* The drawings shall be on the upload Layout with the student's
dimensions written in the notes.

Before Final Exams (Last week of the semester)


1- Analysis of the both structures (2D only) using SAP2000 (3 models
- 2 for trussed frame and 1 for shed) applying all required loads
including wind loads.
2- Calculation Note for both structures (manually or by excel).
* For Shed: Design Column, Rafter and the Column to Rafter connection
only
* For Trussed Frame: Design Main Column, Main Rafter, End Columns,
End Rafter, Bracing (Horizontal and Vertical), Purlin as CFS, Truss to
Column Connection and Mid Truss Connection.
3- Full Structural Drawings with the final Sections (Plan - Elevation -
Side Views - End Gable if applicable - the designed Connections)
* The drawings shall be on the upload Layout with the student's
dimensions written in the notes.
