15% nylon, 10% wool, 10% alpaca, 8%
mohair; 200g/612 yds)
 108 Storm’s Coming – 1 (2)
skeins
Needles: US Size 9 (10 mm) 40” circular
or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch marker,
US Size I-9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook (for
attaching fringe)

14 sts x 18 rows = 4” in Ribbing patt

PATTERN NOTES
Traditional feather and fan looks modern in this
blown-up scale, and in the glorious color change
of Revolutions. This wrap is knit lengthwise to
really show off the long and gradual color change
in the yarn.

STITCH GUIDE
Feather and Fan
(multiple of 17 sts + 6)
Row 1 (RS): Knit.
Row 2 (WS): Purl.
Row 3: K3, * [k2tog] 3 times, [yo, k1] 5 times, yo,
[k2tog] 3 times; rep from * to last 3 sts, k3.
Row 4: Knit.
Rep Rows 1-4 for patt.

WRAP
Cast on 210 (278) sts. Rep Rows 1-4 of Feather
and Fan patt, 18 (28) times, then rep Rows 1-3 of
patt, 1 more time. Patt will be rep 12 (16) times
across each row. Bind off all sts knitwise over the
next WS row.

FINISHING
Weave in ends and block.
Fringe
Cut 114 (174), 14” pieces of yarn. Hold 3 pieces
together as one for each group of fringe. Attach
fringe groups to ends of scarf with crochet hook,
1 group for every other row. Trim fringe to 6”.
