Lesson Title: Writing Process
Time Duration: 45 Minutes

I. Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, students are able to:
a. Define revision and explain its importance in writing;
b. Show appreciation for the revision process by actively participating in activities;
and
c. Edit and rewrite a short paragraph by correcting mistakes in capitalization,
punctuation, and grammar.
II. Subject Matter
Topic: Writing process
Materials: Instructional Materials: Tarp Papel (Crossword Puzzle), Puzzle Pieces,
PPT, TV, Chal and Board.
Reference: Leongson, R. C. (2024). Lesson exemplar for English Grade 7, Quarter 4:
Lesson 2 for Week 3. Department of Education (DepEd).

A. Daily Routine
1. Prayer
“Before we start our discussion, may I
request everyone to stand, and let us have a
short prayer. The students prayer.

C. Motivation
To familiarize the students with the key
terms that they will encounter throughout
the lesson, the teacher presents to the
students the ‘Wharf of Words’ word
scramble activity. A definition will be
provided to aid the learners in unlocking
the words. The learners should be given Answer Key:
enough time to figure out the words.

explaining the slide.

Revising means checking your writing and


making it better. When you revise, you
improve your ideas, make your points
clearer, and make sure everything is
organized. It helps your essay sound strong
and easy to understand.

scared but she still think it was cool.

Search about the fourth stage of writing process, Editing. Write your answer in your
English notebook.
