I. Bulk Updation of Transformers/Poles


This facility is provided to correct the existing Consumer-Pole-Transformer map of
OrumaNet using a CSV file which contains corrected and duplication eliminated Consumer-Pole-
Transformer map.
Menu: SETTINGS => Consumer-Pole-DTR Map => Pole Indexing from File
This is implemented in 6 steps. Following procedure should be done at section offices to complete
the transformer/ pole correction at section level using the CSV file. For any assitance and support,
section offices can contact System Supervisors/Administrators.

1. UPLOAD TRANSFORMER/ POLE DATA

The uploading file should be CSV file with '|' delimiter separated. If the file is available in
.ods/.xlsx/.xls format, it should be converted to CSV type file with the help of System
Administrator/ Supervisor. Then upload the file through the menu 'Upload transformer/pole Data'.
The format and header row of the CSV file should be as follows: (Consumer number should be 13
digit OrumaNet consumer number. Also eliminate any transfer out consumers from the CSV )

2. DO PRELIMINARY CORRECTION

While clicking on the procced button, system will remove all the special characters like
>,<,\, {,] etc.. from the uploaded data.

3. TRANSFORMER NAME CORRECTION

Left side column shows the OrumaNet transformer details and Right side column shows the
details of transformers available in the data uploaded. Wrongly named transformers also will be
listed in the right side column. The section user can correct the wrongly named transformers, using
the 'Edit' button provided against each transformer. Before clicking on the 'edit' button, the section
user should select the transformer which is to be renamed. Please note that by doing the above
process, the wrongly named transformers will be changed to 'OrumaNet' transformer name (Left
side coloumn). Editing is not required, if the uploaded transformer details are correct.
If the correction is required in the OrumaNet transformer name it can be corrected through
the menu SETTINGS ->Transformers -> Edit Transformers.
4. SAME POLE WITH MULTIPLE TRANSFORMER

If any of the poles are wrongly attached to two or more transformers such details will be
displayed in this screen. The section user should identify the orginal poles and transformer which is
physically connected and correct pole-transformer map using the button 'SET TRANSFORMER'.
Before clicking on the 'SET TRANSFORMER' button, the section user should select the
transformer to which the pole is actually connected.

5. LIST OF TRANSFORMERS NOT IN ORUMANET

A list of uploaded transformer which is not in OrumaNet will be displayed for verification.
6. APPROVE TRANSFORMER/POLE CORRECTION

Use PROCEED botton for approving the data correction after verification. Please note that
once the approvel is done that is final. No Roll back/ Cancellation is possible thereafter. After
approval, inform the IT-CU, TVM through [email protected] mail for effecting the
changes in OrumaNet.

II. Security Deposit for DOMESTIC-BPL Consumers


As per the Board order No.3173/2016 (D(D&S)/D6-AE3/Total Electrification-Ph 3/2016)
Dated, Tvpm, 09/11/2016, the initial Security Deposit shall not be insisted from domestic applicants
under BPL category, if the Connected Load is not more than 1000 W. The modification based on the
above order is incorperated in the New Service Connection procedure.

III. Modification in Mobile No./ Email Id Registration Process


Update Mobile (Area/ Day code wise)
Navigation to the screen : SERVICES => CONSUMERS => Profile => Register Mobile/
E-mail then select ''Update Mobile'' menu for registering the Mobile number and setting the
SMS alert prefernces.
When an Area/ day code is selected for the bulk registration of mobile numbers,
following screen appears (Please read the release note version1.7.1 dtd 22.07.2016),
A facility is provided for setting the SMS alert preference in addition to the mobile
nnumber change/ add option.
Enter the mobile number of the consumer and tick on the check box provided against
each alert type. Bill information and OMS alert will be send only if the corresponding check
boxes are ticked. Data available in SBM will be shown in the Data From SBM column. If it
is avalid mobile number of the consumer, it can be pasted in the Mobile No field and do the
updation. Please note that the Bill Alert/ OMS alert option should be selected only based
on consumer readiness.

NB: Please note that Feeder-Transformer map is now made mandatory for Field
Verification/Effecting of Service connection. So please ensure the same has been done
properly.
