AFFIDAVIT OF COMPLAINT

The UNDERSIGNED Clem Valerie Yunzal, accuses Exequiel Mariano of Brgy. Mayapa
Calamba City, Laguna, committed as follows, to wit;

That on or about 3:40PM of February 7, 2025 at Brgy., Mayapa Calamba City, Laguna, in front
of their house, the said accused did then and there willfully, unlawfully, feloniously, and by means
of stabbing committed homicide, upon the undersigned directly by overt acts to wit;

That on the said date and time above, Dexter Oplanda while having a drinking session with
his companions in front of their house the alleged suspect stabbed the victim on his chest, that
sustained multiple stabbed wounds. The apparent cause was a heated argument, exchange of
insults and that physical confrontation between the two, after the suspect refused the invitation of
the victim. That after the suspect’s felonious action, he fled and left the knife that he used the
commission of the crime at the scene.

The undersigned executed this affidavit to attest the truthfulness of the foregoing facts and to
support the filing of criminal case against Exequiel Mariano for violations of Article 249 of the
Revised Penal Code of the Philippines.
