PATTERN BEGINS
Note: It is recommended to crochet over your tails to avoid weaving in many ends.

Using Yarn A, make a magic ring.

Row 1: Ch3 (counts as st throughout), 2dc, ch2, 3dc into magic ring, turn. 6dc
Close magic ring by pulling the tail to tighten your circle. Cut yarn leaving 15cm / 6” tail and
fasten off.
Row 2: With Yarn B, ch3, 2dc into same st, dc in each st to ch2-sp, [dc, ch2, dc] into ch2-sp,
dc into each st to end, 3dc into ch3. Turn. 6dc inc
Cut yarn leaving 15cm / 6” tail and fasten off.
Row 3: With Yarn C, ch3, 2 dc into same st, dc in each st to ch2-sp, [dc, ch2, dc] into ch2-sp,

FINISHING
Tassels (make 26):
Cut six 10cm / 4” lengths of yarn for each tassel.
Attach tassels every 5th st along last row of shawl as follows: fold the bundle of yarn in half,
insert the folded end through the centre of the st using hook, then draw the loose ends
through the loop.

Weave in ends and block.
