Pathologist Remark RBC Morphology: Normocytic Normochromic.
Platelet: Adequate on smear.
Note:
Test is processed on Automated six part cell counter from EDTA whole blood. Hb, RBC, WBC differential count and platelet count done by ow cytometry based system, Optical
fl
/ impedance. PCV, RDW, MCH, MCHC are calculated parameters. Hemograms are reviewed and con rmed as per slide review criteria by microscopic examination.
fi
Interpretation:
The cell morphology is well preserved for 24hrs. However, after 24-48 hrs a progressive increase in MCV and HCT is observed leading to a decrease in MCHC. A direct smear is
recommended for an accurate differential count and for examination of RBC morphology.

Test Description Results Unit Reference Range
Hazardous Process Worker Routine Examination
Random Blood Glucose (RBG) 138.5 mg/dL Normal: 70-140
( Fluoride Plasma, UV-hexokinase ) Diabetes mellitus : => 200
(on more than one occasion)
(American diabetes association
guideline 2019)
Interpretation:
A random blood sugar test measures the blood glucose level at any time or random time of the day regardless of last food consumption. As per American Diabetes
Association guidelines, a level of 200 mg/dl or higher on more than one occasion is an indication of diabetes mellitus.
SGPT 34.05 U/L 10 - 40
( Serum, UV with P5P IFCC )
Remarks: Kindly correlate clinically.
Interpretation:
SGPT helps in determining liver function by measuring levels of enzyme alanine aminotransferase in the blood. High level of this enzyme indicate liver damage.
Kindly, correlate clinically.
Creatinine Serum 1.11 mg/dL 0.8 - 1.3
( Serum, Jaffe - kinetic )
Interpretation:
Creatinine is a waste product produced by muscles from the breakdown of a compound called creatine. Creatinine is ltered out by kidney and released into the urine. The
fi
serum creatinine level is used to assess kidney function. The levels of creatinine may vary as per age, gender, race, body weight and muscle mass.
Increased levels of creatinine seen in several conditions like dehydration, shock, urinary tract obstruction, kidney disorders like infection, failure or reduced blood ow.
fl
Bilirubin
Bilirubin Total 0.49 mg/dL 0.3 - 1.2
( Serum, Diazo )
Interpretation:
Bilirubin is end product primarily produced by the normal breakdown red blood cells. Levels are increased in liver disorders, bile duct blockage, hemolytic anemia,
liver-related metabolic problem, or in neonatal jaundice.
Bilirubin, Direct 0.12 mg/dL 0.0 - 0.4
( Serum, Diazo )
Interpretation:
Direct (conjugated) bilirubin is elevated more than indirect (unconjugated) bilirubin when there is a problem associated with decreased elimination of bilirubin by
the liver cells. These conditions include viral hepatitis, alcoholic liver disease, gall stone or bile duct obstruction.
Bilirubin Indirect 0.37 mg/dL <=1.2
( Serum, Calculated )

Interpretation:
Routine urine analysis is comprised of physical ,chemical and microscopic examination used to detect cells, cell fragments, bacteria and substances such as
crystals or casts in the urine associated with the various conditions like urinary tract infections, kidney and liver disorders, diabetes and other metabolic conditions.
Morning rst urine sample is the ideal for examination. Collect midstream clean catch urine sample. Discard the rst few drops of urine as it might contain the
fi
fi
microorganisms present on the surface of the genitals. It is advised to clean the genitals and surrounding area before the collection of a urine sample.
