artist who has created award-
winning work for both television
and film.
He is known for his unique and
imaginative style, which often
combines elements of
surrealism, fantasy, and
cyberpunk.
Mielgo`s work has been praised
for it`s originality, it`s technical
prowess, and it`s ability to tell
powerful stories.
EARLY LIFE AND
Born in Madrid, Spain, in 1975,
Mielgo developed an early interest

CAREER
in animation and art.
H e studied at the School of Visual
Arts in New York City, and after
graduating, he worked on a
variety of commercial and
television projects.
I n 2004, Mielgo co-founded the
animation studio Psyop, with
which he created award-winning
commercials for brands such as
Nike, Audi, and Coca-Cola.
FILM WORK
In 2012, Mielgo made his feature "The Windshield Wiper," which won
film directorial debut with the an Academy Award and a BAFTA
short film Award for Best Animated Short.
"The Feral House," which was
nominated for an Academy Award.
H e followed this with the 2016
short film "The Witness," which
was praised for its stunning visuals
and its exploration of themes of
memory and loss.
