1. Call three pupils to read the dialogue about pets in natural way. Let other pupils listen
while the three are having a dialogue. Refer to page 4 for the dialogue.
2. After listening, let others perform the dialogue with proper facial expressions.

4.3. Analysis Let the pupils answer the questions.


( minutes) 1. How the pupils in the first group read the dialogue? They read it in natural
way.
2. How about the second group? They read it with proper facial expression.
3. Did it change the meaning of the dialogue? Why? Yes, using appropriate facial
expressions when presenting a dialogue helps the speaker get his / her
message across more effectively.

Tell the pupils to pick a partner. Tell them to read the dialogue silently and identify the emotions
expressed in each line. Afterwards, they may proceed with assigning and exchanging roles and
reading the dialogue aloud with facial expression.

5. Assessment
Let the pupils recite the dialogue in front of the class. They will be evaluated based on the Oral
( minutes) Presentation Rubric. (see Appendix) on the TM.

6.Assignment
Choose at least four lines in the dialogue. Let the pupils identify the emotions expressed in each line. Write
( minutes) your answer in your assignment notebook.

7. Wrap-up/ Concluding Activity
