2. Introduction
 Background: Managing personal finances efficiently is crucial, yet
traditional methods are often tedious, prone to errors, and lack
automation. A digital solution can simplify the process and provide
valuable financial insights.
 Problem Statement: Existing expense tracking solutions often lack real-
time updates, detailed categorization, and intuitive budgeting features,
making financial management inefficient.
 Objectives: Develop an Expense Tracking System using the MERN
stack to log, categorize, and analyze expenses.

 Approach: The system will allow users to input or sync expenses,
categorize them, and display financial insights using reports and graphs.
