English Video Project: Demonstrating Purpose

Create a 2–3-minute video demonstrating one of three purposes: to entertain, inform, or instruct.
You will work individually to plan, develop, and execute your video, actively appearing in it.
Project Instructions
1. Planning Phase
Choose your purpose: entertain, inform, or instruct
Brainstorm video ideas that align with your chosen purpose
Outline your video content, including key points or scenes
Create a basic script or storyboard
Identify necessary props, locations, or additional participants
2. Development Phase
Refine your script or storyboard
Practice your on-camera presentation
Gather all required materials and equipment
Scout and secure filming locations
Schedule filming sessions
3. Execution Phase
Set up your filming equipment (camera, microphone, lighting)
Record your video footage
Capture any additional audio or visuals needed
Edit your video, ensuring it meets the 2–3-minute requirement
Add any necessary text, graphics, or music
Review and refine your final cut
