ACCOUNT CREATION AND VALIDATION PROCESS AND

UPLOADING YOUR PROJECT


1. You will receive a Turnitin email invite like this from your instructor, scroll down and click [Set up account]
2. It will direct you to this a page where you will be required to enter your Email and the family name(in this case,
the family name is the second name in your HI Mary Karani email above which is Karani and then you click
Next.

It will direct you to Account setup page with a notice to validate your account within 24hrs(Please note this)
3. From your email you will receive an email like this below and then click the red part written (Create Password)

Please enter a strong password Eg Mary#Karani1* and confirm it, Note down the password because you will
use it frequently.

After entering a strong password, you will get a notice of Account setup complete redirecting you to click Login
4. After clicking Login it will direct you to a page like this, where you will be required to enter your Email address
and your Password(that password that you have created in step 3 above) and then you click Login
5. You will be directed to this page where you will be required to select your security question and you give an
answer then click Next

It will direct you to this other page where you will be required to click I Agree-continue

6. (i) After agreeing with terms, you are now done and already added in a class,

(ii) Please click the class name Eg Education to open the education class page.

(iii) From the class page, on your right click open(in blue)
7. After clicking Open it will direct you to this page written Upload submission(in blue) just click it.
It will direct you to this other page where you will be required to enter your Reg. No. as your submission Title eg
KED/G/001/20
And then on your submission file click choose file to select your project from your phone or computer and then
click Upload submission Again, follow all other due steps to complete your submission.
