PROJECT NAME: Practice-Protect-Prevent: 3P’s Seminar of Safe Sex Education

INTRODUCTION:
Nowadays, the internet has been widely used in a daily manner, many
contents like educational, entertainment, news and even sexual (Rated 18) are
flowing from it. Individuals like minors, adults and in any age are more likely
intentionally and not-intentionally seen it. This is one factors why the issue of sexual
activities is involved in this aspect are rising.
The Practice-Protect-Prevent: Seminar of Safe Sex Education is a program that aims
to help disseminate information's from data around the net that is factual with
regard to Awareness of STI’s, STD’s, and other involved sexual matters that is
relevant in our societal issues. This program will help individuals to understand how
things work outside the stigma of this issue.

PROBLEMS/NEEDS:
This project proposal aims to address these problems and needs by providing
a comprehensive and engaging 3P's Seminar on safe sex education.
Problems:
1. Lack of comprehensive when it comes to sex education.
2. Fear and shame associated with talking about sex.
3. Misinformation and stigma surrounding sexual health.
4. Awkward/Fear of buying Condoms and other medical contraception.
5. Involved in a sex-only relationship (FUBU)
Needs:
1. Evidence-based sex education.
2. Safe and supportive environment for learning dissemination.
3. Positive and inclusive messaging.
4. Empowerment to make informed decisions about sexual matters.
5. Safety Practice's when having sex.
6. Spreading information about transmission and prevention methods of STI’s
and STD's.
7. Strategies for a healthy relationship with an open communication and
consent.

GOALS OBJECTIVE:
By raising awareness of safe sex, STIs, and contraception alternatives, the
"Practice-Protect-Prevent: Seminar of Safe Sex Education" seeks to encourage
responsible and informed sexual health behaviors. The program's objectives are to
provide and impart knowledge to people with the information and abilities they
need to have or make wise decisions, promote frequent STI testing and consistent
use of protection, and foster honest dialogue about consent and boundaries.
Preventing unwanted pregnancies, especially those among teenagers and
adolescents, is one of the objectives of our program about safe sex education.
Through the program's education of youth on consent, contraception, and the
dangers of unprotected sex, the number of child pregnancies can be decreased. It
also aims to dispel mistaken beliefs and misconceptions about sexual health by
sharing positive image, positive attitude, and practices to every individual. The
program also aims to build community support and to strengthen the bond about
sexual health and promotes resources available in the community.
The program will be beneficial to young adults and adolescents, Parents or
guardians, Teachers or Educators, Community, and Health care professionals.
Key points
 Participants gain a deeper understanding of safe sex practices, STIs, and
contraception, leading to more informed decision-making.
 Encouraging open dialogue about consent and boundaries fosters healthier
relationships and enhances personal safety.
 Promoting consistent use of protection and regular testing can help lower the
incidence of STIs within the community.
 Equipping individuals with the skills and knowledge to advocate for their
sexual health promotes personal agency and confidence.
 Building a network encourages peer support, reducing stigma and fostering a
culture of openness regarding sexual health.
 Clearing up misconceptions helps eliminate stigma and promotes healthier
attitudes towards sexual health.
 Empowering individuals leads to more responsible sexual behavior, reducing
the risk of unintended pregnancies and STIs.
 Addressing both knowledge and emotional aspects of sexual health creates a
comprehensive framework for well-being.

PROCEDURE:
1-Day seminar (7am-5pm)
Activities:
1. Dissemination of Information about STI's and STD's.
2. Demos and Practices on how to use condom's properly, prescribing
contraceptives for different individuals in terms of their age with a
professional pharmacist.
3. Body Testing of STI's and STD's on willing individuals.
SCOPE:
The target audience would typically be the students of Camarines Sur
Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC), particularly focusing on young adults and adolescents
who may benefit from enhanced awareness and skills related to sexual health to
contain inclusivity around the proposed plan.
KEY PERSONNEL:

Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, managing resources,


ensuring to achieve the project goals and objectives and held overall responsibility
for the project success.
Project Sponsor is responsible to ensure the materials needed are in place,
prepare the venue and promote the project.
Resource Manager is the one who help Project Manager with planning and
allocating resources for a project.
Business Analyst is responsible to analyze the process of the project.
Project Team Members are responsible to the specific task that Project Manager
assigned.

Other Personnel involved in the project:


Guest Speaker is responsible to share their knowledge about Safe Sex Education.
Participants are responsible to actively participate in discussion and openness to
learning.
Evaluators are responsible to evaluates the feasibility and potential impact of the
project. Their critical assessment can determine whether the project moves forward,
receives funding, or requires adjustments.

APPENDIX:
A.1. Target Audience and Needs:
 Target Audience: The target audience would typically be the students of
Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC). Young adults aged 18-25,
particularly those who are sexually active or planning to become sexually
active.
 Needs: A need for accurate information, open communication, practical
skills, and confidence in making informed decisions about sexual health.

 Practice: Anatomy, physiology, contraception methods, safe sex techniques.
