PETITION FOR CANCELLATION OF NOTICE
OF ASSESSMENT
PETITIONER, unto the PROVINCIAL ASSESSOR’S
OFFICE, most respectfully states, THAT:
1. Petitioner is the registered owner and possessor of
properties located at Tango, Glan, Sarangani Province,
specifically covered by tax declaration numbers:
(a) TD No. 2020-02-0030-00566
(b) TD No. 2020-02-003o-00567
(c) TD No. 2020-02-0030-00568
(d) TD No. 2020-02-0030-00569
A copy of the Tax Declaration of the afore-said
properties are hereto attached to form an integral part
hereof.
2. Petitioner respectfully files this Petition for
Cancellation of Notice of Assessment concerning the
assessment issued on the four (4) above-described
properties;

3. As per their respective Tax Declarations and the
Certification issued by the Office of the Municipal
Assessor, Glan, Sarangani Province dated February 11,
2025, the afore-said properties were assessed and
classified as:

4. The assessment issued is erroneous due to the
following reasons:
5. The market value and assessed value of the properties
does not coincide with their estimated actual cost. The
assessment does not reflect the fair and accurate
valuation.
6. Additionally, there is misclassification of properties.
Two (2) of the four (4) properties particularly the
properties covered by TD No. 2020-02-0030-00568 and
TD No. 2020-02-003o-00569 were misclassified as
commercial properties when they are, in fact,
residential properties.
7. Particularly, the property covered by TD No. 2020-02-
0030-00568 had the improvements of Concrete
Comfort Room used for common and residential
purposes; while the property covered by TD No. 2020-
02-0030-00569 had the improvements of Residential
Hut House (Bahay Kubo) used for residential purposes;
8. The misclassification has led to an incorrect
assessment, resulting in higher tax liabilities;
9. As to the Owner’s Market Value Report, Petitioner
valuation is as follows:

10. Petitioner execute this Petition to attest to the truth of
the foregoing statement for all legal purposes.
WHEREFORE, premises considered, it is most respectfully
prayed that the Notice of Assessment covering the above-stated
properties be ordered cancelled.
Other just and equitable reliefs are likewise prayed for.
