MESH ANALYSIS
• Kirchoff’s voltage law forms the basis of Mesh Analysis.
Sample Problems:
• Determine the current Io in the circuit.
2. Find Ix for the circuit given.
NODAL ANALYSIS
• Kirchoff’s current law is basis of nodal analysis
Sample Problems:
1. Find V1 and V2
2. Calculate V1 and V2 in the circuit
SUPERPOSITION THEOREM
• The theorem become important if the circuit has sources operating at
different frequencies. We must have a different frequency-domain circuit for
each frequency.
• Total frequency must be obtained by adding the individual responses in the
time-domain.
Sample Problems:
1. Calculate Vo in the circuit.
SOURCE TRANSFORMATION
• In the frequency domain involves transmitting a voltage source in series with
an impedance to a current source in parallel with an impedance or vice versa.
Sample Problems:
1. Calculate Vx in the circuit using the method of source transformation.
