The Friendly Dog

Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a friendly dog

named Max. Max was a golden retriever with soft fur and a wagging tail.
He loved to play with the children in the village. Every day, after school,
the children would run to the park, and Max would race to meet them.
Max had a best friend named Sarah. She was a girl who loved to throw
the ball for him. Max would chase the ball as fast as he could and bring it
back to Sarah. The other children would cheer for him, saying, "Go, Max,
go!" One sunny afternoon, while they were playing, Max noticed a little
kitten stuck in a tree. The kitten was scared and meowed loudly. Max
barked to get the children's attention. Sarah and her friends quickly ran to
the tree. They helped the kitten down safely. Max felt very happy to help
his new friend. From that day on, Max became the hero of the village.
Everyone loved him even more, and he always had new friends to play
