The National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh, an Institute of National Importance established by the
Ministry of Education, Govt. of India invites applications in the prescribed format from Indian Nationals,
possessing excellent academic record along with commitment to quality teaching and research, for the

(D). APPLICATION PROCEDURE

1. Application form has to be submitted both in online and printed modes.


2. To submit the application online, click on the recruitment link posted on the NIT Arunachal Pradesh
website (www.nitap.ac.in) register in the recruitment portal and fill up the online application form. All
relevant documents have to be uploaded to the recruitment portal along with the application form. A
PDF copy of the application form will be generated after submission of the online form.
3. Candidates who wish to apply for more than one department or more than one post in same
department, he/she should apply separately for each department/post and separate application must
be submitted for each department/post. The same login can be used for this purpose.
4. Online application must be submitted on or before 28.02.2025, 11:59 p.m. IST.
5. The PDF printout copy of the online application, duly signed ( Separate for each post) along with self-
attested photocopies of all relevant documents should be send in a sealed envelope superscribed as
Application for the post of “………………………………” in the Department of ……………………………
at NIT Arunachal Pradesh to the address given below through speed post/ registered post.
6. Printed application must be reach NIT Arunachal Pradesh, Jote on or before 10.03.2025 till 5.00 PM.
7. Processing fee : This being a special recruitment drive so no fee shall be charged.

(E) GENERAL CONDITIONS:

Candidates are advised to carefully read all the Instructions given below, before filling up the online application.

1. The eligibility, qualifications/experience etc. shall be determined as on the last date of receipt of
application forms (dated 28.02.2025).
2. The application form will not be supplied on postal request. The candidates are advised to download the
same from our NIT Arunachal Pradesh official website. The duly completed application form along with
the enclosures to be sent by speed/registered post to “The Registrar, National Institute of Technology
Arunachal Pradesh, Jote, District: Papum Pare Pin-791113, India”.
3. No correspondence will be considered after the last date of application.
4. This being an advertisement governed by the Flexible Faculty Recruitment Rules, relevant instructions
from MoE issued till the date of interviews will be applicable. Incomplete applications/applications
without necessary enclosures will summarily be rejected.
5. Candidates belonging to SC/OBC (non-creamy layer) categories should attach photocopy of the
certificate obtained from Competent Authorities not below the rank of Tahsildar or from a First Class
Magistrate of the place of domicile of the candidates clearly authenticating the category to which they

belong. Non-creamy layer OBC certificate shall be obtained on or after 01/04/2024. For the purpose of
reservation of posts, the Institution will be regarded as one unit.
6. The persons with disability (PWD) shall be required to produce a medical certificate in the prescribed
form issued by the competent medical authorities for the purpose of employment as per GOI rules.
7. Reservation policy and Relaxation of age for candidates will be as per Government of India norms,
Instructions from MoE issued till the date of interview will be applicable.
8. The Institute reserves the right to modify/ defer or cancel full / part of the advertisement / recruitment at
any stage of processing without assigning any reason.
9. Candidates employed in Govt. service should send their applications through proper channel. In case,
the original application if routed through proper channel is likely to be delayed, a photocopy of the
application should be sent in advance along with application fee to reach before the prescribed
last date.
10. The Industry/Research experience will be considered as per GOI and Institute norms.
11. Number and nature of posts shown above may change and vary at the time of
selection/recruitment. Further, the Institute reserves the right not to fill any post(s).
12. Experience from Institute of repute will only be considered as per Oversight Committee
recommendations vide MHRD Letter F. No. 33-9/2011-TS-III dated 16th April, 2019.
13. Candidates need to go through the following documents along with this advertisement before starting
filling application form:
i. MHRD Notification under S.O. 947 (E) dated 21st July, 2017 published in the Gazette of India:
Extraordinary.
ii. Clarifications as per the recommendations of the Oversight Committee vide MoE letter F. No. 33-
9/2011-TS. III dated 16th April, 2019.
iii. Gazette Notification regarding the First Statues of National Institute of Technology (Amendment)
Statues 2023, dated 7th June, 2023 vide their letter No. F.No. NIT/AP/Estt.145/2023, dated 7th June,
2023.
iv. The relevant qualifications, experience and other terms & conditions of selection are prescribed in
Schedule ‘E’ of NITs Statutes amended 2017, vide their letter No F.No.947, dated 21 st July, 2017.
v. MHRD notification F.No.33-9/2011-TS.III dated 6th October, 2017: regarding recommendation of the
Anomaly Committee in respect of New Recruitment Rules for Faculties in NITs & IIEST shall be
applicable.
vi. Govt. of India rules regarding Implementation of Central Educational Institutions (Reservation of
Teachers’ Cadre) Act, 2019 vide MHRD Letter F. No. 33-3/2018-TS. III dated 5th November, 2019.
14. More than six months of experience in regular position in Institution of repute or any organization with a
pay scale, will only be considered as total experience. Experience rendered on part time, daily wages or
as visiting/guest faculty will not be counted as experience.
15. Direct appointment beyond the age of 60 years is discouraged, except in the case of faculty with
exceptionally brilliant research career and with ongoing or approved externally funded research project.
16. The Institute shall retain complete applications for non-shortlisted candidates only for three months.
17. All Educational Qualification Degree Certificates should be from recognized Universities/Institutes.
18. Mere fulfillment of the required qualifications, experience, credit points, etc., does not
entitle a candidate to be called for interview/selection. Short listing criteria for calling for
interview may be higher than those advertised.
19. The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable limit,
on the basis of qualifications, experience, credit points, etc; higher than those prescribed in this
advertisement, and as per merit decided by Scrutiny Committee. Criteria for short-listing may vary from
department to department.

20. Candidates will have to appear for the presentation and interview at their own cost, if called,
before the Selection Committee on the date and place which will be separately notified to the
candidates.
21. Short-listed candidates may be required to make a test/ brief technical presentation on the day/ one day
before the interview.
22. All original documents will have to be produced at the time of interview for verification.
23. The Institute reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason.
24. No correspondence, whatsoever, will be entertained from the candidates regarding postal delays,
conduct and result of interview and reasons for not being called for interview or selection, etc.
Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification for the post.
25. The applicants are required to visit the Institute website regularly as any subsequent
corrigendum/addendum etc. shall be published on the Institute website only (www.nitap.ac.in).
26. The candidate is responsible for the correctness and authenticity of the information provided in the
application. If it is found at a later date that any information given in the application is incorrect/false, the
candidature/appointment/service is liable to be cancelled/ terminated.
27. Any dispute regarding the recruitment will fall under the jurisdiction of District Papum Pare, Arunachal
Pradesh.
