Procedure
You can update a traveler profile, a company profile, or a traveler associated to a company profile from a PNR or another profile.

You are automatically switched to Profile Mode (PM


PM), when you update a profile.

Update a profile from a displayed PNR:

Enter PU/

When security permits, you can add an office ID to your entry to update a profile for another office.

PU/OFFICE ID/-1 Update a traveler profile for a branch office, name element 1

PU/COMPANY PROFILE Update a company profile

When you are switched to Profile Mode, the profile is displayed and new information is added, such as a new SSR request and
phone contacts.

The information previously stored in the profile is not overwritten. You can modify or cancel any element that no longer applies.
Enter PEE to end and file the changes and exit Profile Mode.

The PNR you used to update the profile is stored in your work area. If you no longer need the PNR, enter IG to ignore.

Update a profile from a profile

Note: This can be done from a displayed profile only.

Enter: PUP*

Example: PUP*T/NCEXXXXXX/-WATSON/AL MR

Entry Description

PUP* Transaction code, asterisk (mandatory before receiving information)

T/ Source profile type (T = Traveler, Y = Agency, C = Company), slash

NCEXXXXXX/- Office ID of the receiving office, slash, dash

WATSON/AL MR Receiving profile traveler last name/first name, title (optional)

NOTE:

Source profile The profile the information is being transferred from


Receiving profile The profile the information is being transferred to

Source office The office ID of the office that owns the profile from which the information is being transferred

Receiving office The office ID of the office to which the profile information is being transferred

Update specific information:

You can update specific information by line numbers or by data sections. If you do not specify the information, all data is updated,
except the

Index Reference (PIN) field.

PUP*T/-COLLINS/DAN,3,9-12 Update specific lines of a traveler profile from a traveler profile

To end and file the changes and exit Profile Mode, enter PEE
PEE.
