Sir,
The Learning Outcomes (L.Os) or Lakshyas on various parameters for NIPUN Grades have
been redefined (as enclosed in Annexure-A), by NCERT in alignment with the National
Education Policy (NEP), 2020, NCF-FS and NIPUN Guidelines. These are on the parameters
of oral language, Reading, Writing, and Numeracy.
You are requested to ensure the following in your school:
Display the Posters on NIPUN Bharat Lakshyas (redefined) from Balvarika 3 (age 5
to 6) to Grade 2 (age 7 to 8) in regional/1local language.
Display the NIPUN Bharat Pledge in regional/local language.
Make available at least one hard copy of the Developmental Goal-wise Key
Competencies and Learning Outcomes in each classroom under the foundational stage
and train teachers accordingly.
Your kind cooperation for effective and timely implementation of the NIPUN Bharat Mission
would be highly appreciated to ensure universal acquisition of foundational literacy and
numeracy, so that every child achieves the desired learning competencies in reading, writing,
and numneracy at the end of Grade 2, by 2026-27.
In this regard, the translated version of the NIPUN Lakshyas will be provided to your school,
so that the posters can bedisplayed in the classrooms as per the guidelines, ensuring that the
NIPUN Lakshyas are prominently hung in the classroom.
