3. Critically discuss the various principles of environmental justice with special
emphasis on its scope.

4. Critically discuss the framework for an effective global deal in the light of a
just climate agreement.
5. Critically discuss the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

6. Critically discuss the Manufacture, Storage and Import of Hazardous
Chemical Rules, 1989.
7. Critically discuss whether the Basel Convention, 1989 adequately safeguards
the interests of the World’s poor in the international trade of hazardous
waste.

8. Critically discuss the environmental concerns on the loss of biological
diversity and the efforts being made at the international levels to address
them. Also discuss their impact on India.
9. Critically discuss the Cartagena Protocol on Bio Safety to the Convention of
Bio Diversity, 2000.
