EX: 1 AUDIO EDITING TASK
AIM:
To use a audio processing software and perform the audio editing tasks-import audio, select and edit
the sound, create fade-in fade out effects, label audio segments, use noise remove filter, mix audio,
change stereo to mono tracks, export audio to different format and save.
Software requirements:
Adobe Audition CS6
Procedure:
Import audio:
1. Open Adobe Audition.
2. In files panel right click and select the import option and choose the audio file.
3. Now, audio file is imported.
Select and edit the sound:
1. For selecting a particular portion of the waveform use markers.
2. First place the cursor in the starting portion and select Edit→marker→add cue marker. Now
marker 01 is created.
3. Next, place the cursor in the ending portion and select edit→marker→Add Cue Marker.
Now marker 02 is created.
4. Edit the file in the editor panel.
5. Use cut, copy, paste and delete options for editing the file.
6. Ring tones are created by using this method.
Fade-in Fade-out effects:
1. To apply fade in effects in the starting of the songs(mp3 file),in the favourites menu click
fade in option.
2. To apply fade out effect in the ending of the songs(mp3 file), in the favourites menu click
fade out option.
Label audio segments:
1. Create markers in different portions of the waveform.
2. Label the markers by right clicking in the marker and select rename marker.
3. Edit the name of the marker.
4. Similarity creates different labels.
Noise remove filter:
1. Select the portion of the waveform having noise.
2. To apply noise effects in the effect menu click the noise reduction/ restoration.
3. Select any particular method(e.g: Noise Reduction process)
Mix audio:
1. To mix the audio, we need at least 2 files.
2. Import the audio files.
3. In the first file delete the unwanted portion of the waveform.
4. From the second file cut the needed portion and place it in the first file.
Stereo to mono tracks:
1. Import and audio file in stereo type (all mp3’s are in stereo type by default).
2. To change stereo to mono, select favourites menu and click the convert to mono.
Export and save:
1. To get the output in a particular format in the file menu click the export→file
2. In the export file dialog box, change necessary format
3. To save the work space, file → save.
Result
Thus by using an audio processing software the audio editing tasks- importing audio selecting
and editing the sound, creating fade-in fade-out effects, labelling audio segments using noise
remove filter, mixing audio changing stereo to mono tracks, exporting audio to different format

Ex:2 VIDEO EDITING TASKS
Aim:
To use a video processing software to perform-trim video clips, crop video, rotate video , join video
add subtitles, and edit video dimension, bit rate, frame rate sample rate, channel and video/audio
quality tasks on a video.
Software Required:
Adobe premiere Pro CS3
Procedure:
1. Open Adobe premiere
2. Click new project.
3. In the load preset, expand DV-PAL, select Standard 48KHZ, give the location, enter the name
and press ok button.
4. In the project panel right click in the name portion select the import and choose any video
file.
5. Drag the video from the project panel to the timeline panel at the location on 00:00.
6. To trim the video clip, select the position of the video file in the timeline panel and trim it by
using razor tool from tools panel.
7. To crop the video clip, follow the procedure:
a. In the effects panel, select video effects→ transform→ crop
b. Select crop and drag it in to the video file placed in the timeline panel.
c. In the effect control panel, expand the crop option and change the left, top, right
and bottom positions.
8. To rotate the video, expand the motion option from the video effects to effects control
panel, and change the degree of the rotation option.
9. To join video, import another video file and drag the video from the project panel to the
timeline panel at the end of the first video file.
10. For adding subtitles, in the title menu select new title? Default still. Now type the name of
the title, select a title style from the title panel style, select type tool from the title tools
panel, type the required text and close it. Then, d rag the title to the timeline panel at the
exact position.
11. Editing video dimension, bit rate , frame rate, sample rate, channel, and video/audio quality
tasks are performed during the creation of a new project and some of the seeting can be
changed.
12. Finally when the work is finished take the output by selecting file menu→ export
→movie→settings and make necessary changes. Then click ok button and select the
location and click save button. Now the video is rendering
Results:
Thus by using a video processing software trimming video clips, cropping video, rotating
video, joining video, adding subtitles, and editing video dimension, bit rate, frame rate,
sample rate, channel, and video/audio quality tasks on a video were successfully performed
in adobe premiere pro CS3.
Ex:3 MOVIE CREATION WITH VIDEO EFFECTS
AIM:
To create a movie from video clips to demonstrate audio-video mixing , music, vido effects, video
transition, titles.
SOFTWARE REQUIRED:
Adobe premiere pro CS3
Procedure:
1. Open adobe premiere.
2. Click new project.
3. In the load preset, expand DV-PAL, select standard 48KHZ, give the location, enter the name
and press ok button.
4. In the project panel right click in the name portion select the import and choose any video
file.
5. Drag the video from the project panel to the timeline panel at the location on 00:00
6. Now select the video 1 in the timeline panel then right click and choose unlink option. Now
the audio 1 and the video 1 are separated.
7. Select the audio 1 file and delete it.
8. Then import another audio file and move to the audio 1 of the timeline panel. Now the new
audio and old videos are mixed.
9. Same procedure is followed in music files.
10. To apply video effects to the video, select video effects from effects panel and select any
option.
11. To apply video transition to the video, select video transitions from effects panel and select
any option.
12. For adding titles, in the title menu select new title→default still. Now type the name of the
title, select a title style from the title style panel, select type tool from the title tool panel,
type the required text and close it. Then, drag the title to the timeline panel at the exact
position.
Results:
Thus creating a movie from video clips for demonstrating audio video mixing music, video effects,
video transitions and titles was successfully performed in Adobe premiere proCS3.
EX:4 VIDEO FILE COMPRESSION
AIM:
Use suitable software to compress video files and convert video to different formats band also split,
join, rip video file.
Software Required:
Adobe premiere pro
Procedure:
1. All apps→ Adobe master collection→ Adobe premiere pro.
2. Open the video file by click file→import→video file.
3. File→export→format→ window media. Go to video tape adjust the average video bit rate
per second to reduce the file size.
4. Click on the name of the video file save it in desired location
5. Click export and after exporting, the video file was compressed successfully.
File format conversion
1. Open the video file by click file→ import→video file.
2. File→export→file format. File format→ choose the file needed.
3. Click on the output name→ save it in the desired location. click export after the file was
successfully converted.
SPLIT, JOIN, RIP VIDEO FILE
1. Open the video file by click file→import→video file.
2. Drag the video file in to video track.
3. By pressing c in the keyboard split the video clips as we want
JOIN THE CLIPS
1. After splitting clip select all he clips
2. Right click on the selected clips nest clips will be joined.
RIPPING
1. Open the video file from CD/DVD by selecting media browser from the panel or window→
media browser→load the needed the file in to the project and edit is as you needed.

EX: 5 PANORAMIC VIEWS
Aim:
To use a scanner to create two or more partial scanned image of large poster/photo. Create a
panoramic view of multiple photos by stitching together them using any panorama software.
Software Required:
PTGui Photo stitching software 9.1
Procedure:
1. Open PTGui photo switching software.
2. In the project Assistant tab click the load image.
3. Select two or more partial scanned images of large poster and click open.
4. In the camera/lens data (EXIF) window select any presets and click ok.
5. In the project assistant tab click align images.
6. In the PTGui window select yes.
7. In the control points tab, set the control points in the images of both windows by clicking the
similar points for all the sets of the images.
8. After setting all the control points, select optimize word presented below the align image of
the project Assistant tab and click yes in the PTGui window.
9. In the optimizer results window click ok.
10. For adjusting the panoramic view, go to the panorama editor.
11. By clicking preview button in the preview tab we can get the final output of the panorama
image
12. To save a panorama image go to create panorama tab and click the create panorama button.

Ex:6 DEVELOP A PAGE WITH ANIMATION
AIM:
To develop a web page shows animation with sound effect using any professional HTML editor.

PROCEDURE:

EX:7 CREATE A PENCIL SKETCH EFFECT
AIM:
To create a pencil sketch of a picture using suitable software.
SOFTWARE REQUIRED:
Adobe photoshop
PROCEDURE:
1. Start with a photo that has some decent edge details.
2. Duplicate the layer by dragging in to the new layer icon, or press Ctrl+J.
3. Select the hue and saturation from right clicking layer button and change the saturation
value to -100.
4. Change the duplicate layer blend mode to color dodge (right click and select blending
option).
5. Invert the layer cmd/Ctrl+l.
6. Filter→blur→gaussian blur. As you adjust the blur you will get a different result.
7. Adjust the levels values of the image as given below right click layer button on layer
panel→levels
8. Finally using brush tool make the color correction for getting better result.

Thus the pencil sketch of picture was successfully completed.
Ex:8 CREATE A SPORTS DAY CELEBRATION
AIM:
To design a certificate for sports day with different text effects using suitable software.
SOFTWARE REQUIRED:
Adobe photoshop
Procedure:
1. Open adobe adobe photoshop CS3.
2. Select the file menu and click new.
3. Now appear the NEW menu window. Give the width and height size as8400 pixel and 6150
pixel respectively. Set the resolution 200 pixel/centimetre and click ok button.
4. Now display the new page.
5. Then select the create new fill layer or adjustment layer on the layer window and select the
gradient.
6. Now appear the gradient fill window. Change the gradient style and click ok button.
7. Select the rectangle shape from toolbox and draw the rectangle shape.
8. Press Ctrl+A and select the move tool from toolbox. Click the align vertical centers icon ALIgn
horizontal centers icon. Now fill box set in 0% and click add layer style icon from the bottom
of the layer window. Select the stroke and set the size 5 and lick ok.
9. Copy the rectangle and change white color.
10. Select type tool from toolbox and type the required text.
11. File→ open and select the background picture and click ok button. Set the background for
the certificate and adjust the opacity of the image from layer window.
12. Then change the font size, font style and font color.
13. Save this as jpeg format. File→ save. Type the file name and change file type in to JPG. Click
the save button.

Thus the sports day certificate design was execute and successfully completed.
EX:9 MORPH, MERGE AND OVERLAP TWO PICTURES
Aim:
To import any two pictures morph, merge and overlap those two pictures.
Software Required:
Adobe photoshop
Procedure:
Import two images:
1. Open adobe photoshop CS3.
2. File→open→select the 2 images and click open button.
3. Image→Duplicate. Now appear the new windows same image and close the original image.
4. Copy the image for designation image in front of the source image.
5. Select the background image and press Ctrl+j twice to create the two duplicate layers.
6. Then one background copy is moved to layer1.then select the layer1 and adjusts it.
7. Select the earser tool from the toolbox and erase the face of the background image.
8. Then adjust the layer1 to correct place and resize it.(press Ctrl+t)
9. Press Ctrl+b for the color balance, adjust to designation color .
10. Press Ctrl+L for level, to adjust the dark and light.
11. Select layer1, background copy1 & copy2 and press Ctrl+E for merging layers.
12. Image→Adjustments→brightness/contrast.
Results:
Thus morph , merge and overlap of two pictures was successfully completed.
Ex :10 DRAW THE RAINDROP AND SHOW THE SPLASH EFFECT WITH SOUND EFFECT
AIM:
To draw the raindrop that falls on the ground. Show the splash effect and sound effect using suitable
software.
Software Required:
Autodesk Maya
Procedure:
1. Open autodesk Maya
2. First we start working with rain press shift band right click then select sphere.
3. Press T subdivision axis value 8 and subdivision height value 8.
4. Next select the upper vertex this way press B to soft select mode on.
5. Press B and the left click adjust the brush size presds W drag it up a bit.
6. Press R and adjusted the scale look like water drop.
7. Then select poly modelling shelf select freeze delete by the type and center pivot set the x y
z scale value 0.04.
8. Then select freeze delete by type and center pivot then tag it.
9. Rain lift should be away from the ground make it translate y value eight by pressing this wire
frame icon make it easier to see because it is too small then go to frame one and press shift
and W.
10. It will make you key select when you press it go to frame 80 in the same way set translate y
value minus 8. Press shift and W as you can see up to 80 frame the activity was created next
select poly then go to window select graph editor from the animation editor select all graph
in this way press linear tangents then go to curves under infinity select cycle with offset.
11. You can see there was an activity that stopped at 80 frames and now that it has been cycle
with offset there has been endless activity from the beginning.
12. Press Ctrl+G to group and give the group name. Then rotate it to a certain select a group and
rotate x value 15.
13. Select a group go to the mass shelf click the create mash network. Go to the attribute editor
select the mash distribute set distribution type grid. Distance x 15, Z 15. Grid x value 25 and z
value 25.
14. Mash network and random node position x, y ,z value 0,10,0.
15. Mash editor→network add the transform node. Right click on the controller null then select
create and translate y value 10.
16. Mash network add time node animation start value on end value 120 random seed value 10
and adjust the scale. Then press F5. Fluids→ ponds→. Fluids→ make collide.
17. Select the pond and go to attribute editor→ boundary x and y none. Then change make the
damp value 0.1 from dynamic simulation, density value 0.04
18. Select pond and go to modify→convert→ fluid to polygons.
19. Select the mash polygon and fluid polygon by pressing control. Cache→ export selection to
alembic then change the start and end. Then tag and export it.
20. Next open a new scene import the previously exported alembic. Right click on pay select
standard surface material. Material type→ i standard surface. Present→replace deep water.
21. Next select a group go to the edit menu → duplicate special→ select make sure the
duplicate input graph. Adjust the duplicate group and go with alembic node attribute. Offset
value 4
22. Then select both group and press Ctrl+G. Press Ctrl+Shift+E to adjust the duplicate group.
23. Finally Arnold→ sky dome light. Texture and light on the view port.

Thus draw the raindrop that falls on the ground and splash effect was executed successfully.
Ex:11 CLOUD ANIMATION
AIM:
To create a moving cloud animation using any animation software.
Software Required:
Adobe photoshop CS3
Procedure:
1. Open adobe photoshop CS3.
2. In photoshop start with image with suitable background for making cloud animation.
3. Now open the cloud image.
4. Using move tool move the cloud image in to background image.
5. Click window→ Animation (now animation pane will be shown in below the working area).
6. Select the duplicate selected frame button from bottom of the animation pane making the
cloud movement by move the cloud in different position on different frame.
7. Run the animation to show the cloud moving animation.
Result:
Thus the cloud animation was successfully completed.
Ex: 12 2D ANIMATION USING MOTION GUIDE LAYER
AIM:
To create a 2D animation using motion guide layer and masking.
Software Required:
Adobe Flash
Procedure:
1. Open adobe flash professional.
2. Select the “Oval Tool” and draw an object right on stage.
3. Now select that object and press “Ctrl+G” to group it so no one can delete that and modify
that object here.
4. Click on the add motion guide icon right over here next we have to select the guide layer key
frame.
5. Then take the “pencil tool” and draw a path.
6. Then select any frame (eg: 50th frame). Select both of the frame by pressing “Ctrl” then press
“f6” to add key frame.
7. Then what you have do it select only the circle object and drag it to the end of the path.
8. Select the “layer 1” the object the circle here. Right click and select create motion tween.
9. Click control tab and select test movie to play this animation.
10. Click file→ export → movie. Now appear the export movie window. Give the name and click
save button now display the quick time export setting window.\
11. Then click the quick time setting button → settings→ compression type→ H 264→
ok→ok→ok.

Ex: 13 2d ANIMATION OF AN AEROPLANE TAKE OFF
AIM:
To create a 2D animation of an aeroplane take off using suitable software.
Software Required:
Adobe flash
Procedure:
1. Open Adobe flash professional
2. Select rectangle tool from the toolbox. Draw a rectangle bottom of the page and change the
color as gray using paint bucket tool.
3. Again draw a rectangle fill with white color like as a road.
4. Create new layer and select file→ import→select the aeroplane png image→ ok.
5. Resize the image using free transform tool. Then press shift key and click the corner point
and resize the image. Then placed the image on road.
6. `click on add motion guide icon right over here next we have to select the guide layer key
frame.
7. Then take the” pencil tool” and draw a path.
8. Then select any frame( e.g 50th frame) . select both of the frame by pressing ”Ctrl” then
press “F6” to add key frame.
9. Then what you have do is select only the circle object and drag it to the end of the path.
10. Select the ”layer 1” of the object the circle here. Right click and select create motion tween.
11. Click File? Export? Movie. Now appear the export movie window. Give the name and click
save button now display the quick time export setting window.
12. Then click the quick time settings button→ settings→ compression type→ H 264→ ok
→ok→ok.

Ex:14 METALLIC TEXT
AIM:
To design a metallic text using 3D animation tool.
Software Required:
Auto Desk maya
Procedure:
1. Open Auto desk maya.
2. Create → text now display the text curve options window.
3. Then type any word in the text field. Then select bevel option and click create button.
4. Now create the word on the work space.
5. Select the text. Then select the plane tool in the polygon tab and draw the plan shape.
6. Select the text and go to mesh? Separate. Now we can select individual letters.
7. Select the word and right click and drag on the assign the new material.
8. Now appear the assigning new material window then select the blinn option.
9. Now expanded the attribute editor window in the right side. Then click the color and select
the any color.
10. Then create→ lights→area light. Adjust the light effect using move tool.
11. Use all the lights option is now on. Press F5 for shaded display with default lightning.
12. Select the 20 sec bottom of the page. Move the first letter and press S key on the keyboard.
13. Then select the 40 sec and move on next letter. Then press the S key on the keyboard.
14. Repeat the steps for the full word.
15. Click play button for view the animation.

Thus the design a metallic text using 3D animation tool was successfully completed.
Ex:15 CHANGE THE BACKGROUND USING CHROMA KEY TECHNIQUE
Aim:
To import an image with green screen background and change the background of the imported
image with required image using chroma technique.
Software Required:
Adobe premire pro
Procedure:
1. Open adobe premire pro
2. Import the footage. File? Import? Select the footage and click ok.
3. Now import your footage. Then drag in the timeline video1.
4. You can see that the green background footage. For remove chroma simply go to ‘Effects
panel’ .
5. Then apply the ultra key effect on that footage .
6. After that navigation to effects control panel. And here we have our ultra key effect.
7. Go to key color and select your desired green color and try to select the color as much closer
to the main subject.
8. After that set output to alpha channel and adjust some setting from matte generation.
9. Subtract the main subject from background. Keep your subject in white color as much as
possible.\
10. Now you can see that the green color is removed from our video. But here some green is left
on the edges of subject.
11. To fix this issue go to matte generation and adjust the properties of transparency, shadow
and others as well. After this process adjust some properties from matte cleanup.
12. Now you can see totally removed from your footage.

the imported image with required image using chroma key technique was successfully completed.
