outlined below.

1 Originality; does the research contribute new knowledge? Are the results free of plagiarism?
2 Are the report abstract and key words adequate and fully represent the whole content?
3 Is the literature review well organized and cited potential papers?
4 Are the materials and Methods appropriate and correctly done? Were the experiments
conducted correctly? Was proper methodology incorporated in the experiments and did the
authors apply the chosen methods?
5 Are the results discussed very well? Are the results presented in the paper in conformity with
the current state of knowledge in the given field?
6 Do all the objectives (General and Specific) have been met by the research?
7 Do the conclusions presented in the paper correspond to the results described therein?
8 Does the paper have a practical, innovative or didactic value?
9 Are the figures, graphs, tables included in the report clear, captioned, adequate and in
conformity with the current state of knowledge in the given field?
10 Is the layout (font, citation of the references, and organization of the write up) correct? Is the
overall write up correct grammatically?

*A research that lacks originality (if plagiarism is proved), will be automatically rejected, and disciplinary measures will follow.
*According to the research guidelines of School of Research and Graduate Studies of Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, the names of evaluators
reviewing research reports are kept secret.
