What is Google Meet?
Google Meet is a video conferencing service developed
by Google. It lets you hold virtual meetings, make
video calls, and share screens with others-whether for
work, school, or personal use.
Here's a quick breakdown:
Free & Paid Versions: There's a free version for personal use (with
limits on meeting duration and participants), and paid versions as
part of Google Workspace for businesses and schools.
Browser-Based: You can use it directly in a web browser—no need
to install an app (though mobile apps are available).

Integration with Google Calendar
How to use it:
If You're Using a Computer (Browser)
1. Go to the Website:
Visit meet.google.com
2. Sign In:
Log in with your Google (Gmail) account.
3. To Start a Meeting:
Click "New meeting"
Choose:
Create a meeting for later (you'll get a link to share)
Start an instant meeting
Schedule in Google Calendar
4. To Join a Meeting:
Click "Join with a code"
Enter the meeting code or link someone gave you
Click Join
During the Meeting
Mic & Camera: Use the buttons at the bottom to turn your
mic or camera on/off.
Share Screen: Click "Present now" to share your screen.
Chat: Click the chat icon to send messages to the group.
Leave: Click the red phone icon to leave the meeting.
On a Phone or Tablet:
1. Download the App: Get the Google Meet app
from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
2. Sign In: Use your Google account.
3. Follow the same steps to start or join a meeting.
