lesson
A – Always listen to the teacher and classmates.
M – Maintain cleanliness and order in the classroom.
O – Obey instructions and be respectful.
R – Raise your hand if you want to recite.
B. Establishing a Fill in the boxes inside the circle graph with the correct

lesson
C. Presenting What fraction or percent of the game chose patintero?
examples/ instances
of the new lesson
D. Discussing new Pie Graph Detective Game
concepts and Objective: Students will work in small groups to interpret
practicing new skills pie graphs and solve related problems.
#1 Materials: Pre-made pie charts on different topics (e.g.,
favorite fruits, types of transportation, time spent on
activities).
Instructions:
Divide students into groups of 3-4.
Provide each group with a different pie graph and a set
of problem cards (some routine, some non-routine).
Each group will analyze their pie graph to answer the
problem cards. For example:
Routine: "What percentage of students prefer apples?"
Non-routine: "If the total number of students is 120, how
many prefer bananas?"
Encourage groups to discuss and justify their answers.
After completing the problems, groups present their
findings to the class, explaining how they interpreted the
data.
E. Discussing new Work It Out:
concepts and 1. A group of 500 children was asked to choose their
practicing new skills favorite colors. The pie chart represents their choices?
#2
a.What fraction of the children chose green?
b. How many children chose red?
c. What percentage of the children chose yellow?
d. What is the ratio of the number of children who chose
blue to those who chose yellow?
F. Developing The pie chart shows the different types of drinks sold at a
mastery (Leads to drinks stall.
Formative
Assessment 3
a. Which was the most popular drink?
b. What fraction of the drinks sold was soya bean?
c. What percentage of the drinks sold was Milo?
d. If 80 cups of milo were sold, how many cups of tea
were sold?
G. Finding practical Study the pie graph and answer the questions that
applications of follow.
concepts and skills The pie graph shows the number of items sold in a day
in daily living at a bookshop. The number of pens sold is equal to the
number of erasers sold, while the files is one half of the
total of books sold.
1. How many books are sold in a day?
2. How many erasers are sold in a day?
3. What percent of the total number of items sold are
books?
4. What fraction of the total number of items sold are
pens?
H.Making How will you solve word problems involving pie graph?

abstractions about
the lesson
I. Evaluating learning A survey was conducted on the subjects that the pupils
like most in a school. A total of 80 pupils participated in
the survey. The pie graph shows the result.
a. What percentage of the pupils like English or Science
most?
b. What fraction of the pupils like Mathematics most?
c. How many pupils among them like English most?
