LEARNINGS / REFLECTION:
Angeles Palengke is located at Richthofen St, Angeles, 2009 Pampanga. As we explore this Palengke
together with our tour guides the vendor showed the demonstration of making an longganisa. They
have manual equipment that helps in making longganisa. The second one , the tour guide showed us
the demonstration in making binuro. Binuro is look like palabok but it is not , I forgot the ingredients
but it is covered with banana leaves as they believe that it’s more useful than plastic or styro because it
can be recyclable. I didn’t have a chance to taste it because of what happened to me during that time.
But based on my classmates , it is delicious and worth it to buy. Before I go to our bus , I bought one
cup of sherbet , sherbet is one of the famous dessert in Pampanga. Sherbet is made of buko , a pure
buko. I learned also in this place , mostly when it comes to their foods that they are promoting.
Everything is here , fresh seafoods , meat , vegetables and fruits all you needed for cooking is all here
also the other things you need.

E. PAMINTUAN MANSION
LEARNINGS / REFLECTION:
Pamintuan Mansion is built in the 1880’s by Mariano Pamintuan. As I remember , tour guide said that
When General Emilio Aguinaldo decided to relocate the capital from Kawit, Cavite to Angeles City,
Pampanga during the Philippine American War, the mansion served as the seat of the First Philippine
Republic's government. After that, The Japanese Imperial Army used the mansion to welcome several
pilots and officers during World War II. After the war, it served as the US Organization's clubhouse for a
few years until turning into a modest bed and breakfast. The Pamintuans sold the home in 1959, and
the Pampanga municipal government rented it. The museum is full of old things and paintings that
represents the culture of the Philippines and kapampangan. In the kitchen part of the museum there is
kitchen tools displayed with their kapampangan names. There is also a board games that you could play
and some of the games represent the famous game of the Philippines which is Sungka. I enjoyed my
time being there to the point that I forgot to take a lot of pictures.
