Since the 3 models are all for action research, what are the common
elements of the three?

- They have same characteristics and elements like observing,


reflecting, planning, acting, evaluating and modifying. This model
provides a real-time feedback on what works and how it works.

Analayze

What have you understood about the concept of Action Research and how
will these be utilized in your practice?

- Action Research enables educators to learn by doing in order to


advance personally or professionally. Knowledge about inquiry is
produced through action research in relevant educational
environments. And also action research process is unique in
educational research due to its participatory element.

Reflect

As a future teacher, is conducting an Action Research worth doing?

- Yes

Why?

- Because action research encourages the development of critical


thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and decision-making skills.
It also assist teachers in understanding what is effective and
what is not.

How can Action Research be useful for every classroom teacher?


- Action Research can help teachers to reflect on what they want
to improve , learn about the field and practice in a safe
environment.

Observe

Remembering my classroom observations in FS 1, I noticed that there are


many questions that I raised in my mind. These include:

a. How can I encourage students to actively participate in the discussion?


b. How can I encourage group work and collaboration?
c. How can I help students in engaging in a hands-on activity?

Reflect

Thinking deeply about those problems, perhaps something must have been
done to solve the problem or answer the question like:

a. By knowing the perspective of the students on the subject.


b. By giving them a task which each person in the group is required to
contribute and work together.
c. By experimenting which will help them develop their creativity and
experimentation abilities.

Plan

Now that I am in FS 2, I plan to make a plan for my solution to problem


because.

- Engaging in a hands-on activity helps learners to develop and


practice their learning skills.
