1. Writing Documents in MS Word

What is MS Word?

Microsoft Word is a word-processing application used for creating, formatting, editing, and
printing text-based documents. It is widely used for writing letters, reports, essays, and other
professional documents.

Steps to Write a Document in MS Word

Step 1: Open MS Word

1. Click on the Start Menu and search for Microsoft Word.

2. Click on the MS Word icon to open the program.

3. Select Blank Document to start a new document.

Step 2: Typing and Editing Text

1. Click inside the document and start typing.

2. Use the Backspace or Delete key to correct mistakes.

3. To move text, use Cut (Ctrl + X) and Paste (Ctrl + V).


Step 3: Formatting the Document
