You need:

- yarn in green and tan


- matching hook
- polyester stuffing
- safety eyes or black beads
- needle
Stitches (US terms):
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc =double crochet
ch = chain
slst = slip stitch
pop = popcorn stitch (work 3 double crochet (dc) stitches in the
same stitch, drop the loop from your hook, insert your hook from
front to back under the top 2 loops of the first double crochet of the
group, grab the dropped loop with your hook and pull it through the
stitch, pull tight, chain 1)

How to: You are crocheting in a spiral, arms and legs are made with popcorn stitch, so the only sewing
needed is for attaching the ears. To change color make the last loop of the previous stitch with the new
color. When decreasing with sc use invisible decrease (push hook through front loop of first stitch, then do
not yarn over, push hook through front loop of second stitch, yarn over and pull through both stitches,
yarn over and pull through). Count your stitches very carefully or use stitch markers.

Round Stitches st per round

1 Start with green yarn: Chain 2, 6 sc in second stich from hook 6


2 2 sc in every stitch 12
3 12 sc 12
4 12 sc 12
5 *1 sc, 1 dec* x 4, change color to tan, do not cut green yarn 8
6 *1 sc, 2 sc in same st* x 4 12
7 3 sc, 1 pop with green yarn,3 sc, 1 pop with green yarn, 4 sc 12
8 3 sc, 2 sc in back of pop st, 3sc, 2 sc in back of pop st, 4 sc 14
9 14 sc 14
10 5 sc, 1 pop with green yarn, 5 sc, 1 pop with green yarn, 2 sc 14
11 *1 sc, 1 dec* x 5, cut yarn, stuff, sew closed. Go with thread from 9
bottom to top and back to bottom to form flat undersideso he will be
able to stand.

Ears: make 2
Chain 4, sl st in second st from hook, 1 sc, 1 hdc, yarn over, pull through, cet yarn (leave tail
for sewing!) sew to head.
Sew or glue eyes, embroider eyelids and nose with thread.
Collar: with tan yarn chain 13 cut and pull through, knot around neck, finished ;-)
