The FLM is pilot basic reference use document for the safe
operation of the helicopter.
It is in two volumes (or in one with a certified part and a non certified
(complementary volume) part):
• regulatory flight manual (FLM or PMV) volume 1, approved by
the National Aviation Authority (FAA, EASA…), including:
- limitations,
- normal and emergency procedures,
- approved performance data.
• complementary flight manual, additional manufacturer
information (not subject to approval), including:
- additional performance data,
- data required to calculate the weight and Center of Gravity
(CG) position for each aircraft configuration,
- systems and description,
