Yunithi One: Imibhalo Yokufundisa Ulimi Lwesibili

Ngaphambi kokuqoka izinsiza kusebenza zokufundisa ulimi ulimi lwesibili (isiZulu ulimi lokwengeza) kumele ubheke
isizathu esenza ufundise ulimi lolo, njengokuthi abanye balufundela ukuba ongoti kulona, abanye balufundela ukukwazi
ukuxhumana nje, abanye bafundela isimo sokulusebenzisa, kanjalo nokunye. Ngakhoke kubalulekile ukuthi uzazi izinhlobo
zemibhalo ebekelwe ukufundisa ulimi lwesisbili, kanjalo namandla nobuthaka bayo ukuze uzokwazi ukukhetha umbhalo
ozofezekisa izinhloso zokufundisa.

Izinkinga uthisha angahlangabezana nazo.

 Ubuncane besikhathi esibekelwe ukufundisa ulimi-ukuqonda ulimi akufani nokufundisa amakhonsepthi njengezibalo
nesayensi.

 Ukufundisa ulimi kudinga ukuthi uthisha abe nezinsiza kusebenza endaweni yokufundisa ezihambisana nezinjongo
zaleso sosuku, njengoba ulimi kufundiswa izingxenye eziningi ezihlukahlukene ezihlanganisa ukubhala, ukukhuluma,
igrammar, umumo nemithetho, ukulalela kanjalo nokufunda lokhu kusho ukuthi uthisha kumele abe nazo zonke
izinto akazozidinga kungaba izincwadi noma izinto zokusebenza njenge-prhrojektha nokunye, kanti izikole eziningi
zisayintula inqala-sizinda ehambisana nokusetshenziswa kobuchwepheshe besimanje bokufundisa.

 Abafundi bafunda kangcono ngezindlela ezeehlukile ngakhoke uthisha kumele uma ehlela izifundo zakhe
ekukhumbyule lokhu ukufundisa noma ukusebenzisa imiyalelo ehlukahlukene.
 Abafundi bangaba nabasiko ahlukene ekilasini elilodwa, ngakhoke uthisha akumele esebenzise abanye abafundi
ukuklala impumelelo yekilasi lonke ekwazini noma ezingeni lokuqonda ulimi. Cabanga lokhu, uma ufundisa isiZulu
njengolimi lokwengeza, uma iklasi lakho linabafundi abangaphansi kweqembu labantu okungabaNguni, labafundi
basethubeni lokuqonda ulimi olufundwayo kangcono uma ubaqhathanisa nabafundi abasuka ezilimini ezihlukile
kakhulu esiZulwini njengesiNgisi noma isiBhunu.

 Lubalulekile usikompilo lwalabo bantu ofunda ulimi lwabo, ukuze uzokwazi ukugwema nokulandela yonke
imithetho yolimi lolo olufundwayo. Lokhu kubala ukusondelana nokuqghelelana komuntu ofunda ulimi neiphakathi
leyo ekhuluma lolo limi. Isibonelo, uma abafundi beqhelelene nemiphakathi ekhuluma lolo limi olufundwayo
kujaweyele ukuba nzima ukushesha balkuqonde lolo limi olufundwayo.

Umgogodla (uhlaka lokhuketha izincwadi zabantwana)

 Ukuthi incwadi ingani (ikhuluma ngani) – usiko, izilwane, imisebenzi yasekhaya?


 Ukuthi ihloze ukufundisa ini ifundisa obani – ulwazimagama, izibalo, ukudweba, imibala, ?
 Ukuhambisana kwezithombe/imidwebo nalokho incwadi ekhuluma ngakho.
 Ubuthaka namandla aleyo ncwadi
 Ukuqhathanisa izinga laleyo ncwadi nezinye izncwadi zombhali oyedwa
 Ibukeka kanjani kubafundi nomuntu ozoyifunda ngesikhathi eyifunda, nokuthi iheha kanjani ukuthi ifundwe.
 Ukuthi labo abayibukezile (reviwers) bathini ngayo?
 Ukuthi imiphi imisebenzi ekhona encwadini ongayenzisa abafundi? Futhi ibamba liphi iqhaza ekuthuthukiseni ulwazi
namakhono abo olimi?
 Ulimi lusetshenziswe kanjani, futhi nhloboni yolimi olukhona? Ukuthi ulimi oluqondile lukhona yini, lujikeleleza
kanjani?
 Imibono equkethwe ileyo ncwadi mayelana nezinkinga zomphakathi, nezinto okukhulunywa ngazo emihleni (GBV,
Crime, LGTBQI+ societies)

Okuzuzwayo ngokufundwa kwezincwadi.

 Ulwazimagama
 Ukukwazi ukuzicabangela ngokuzimela nokucabanga ngesu lokukhiqiza
 Ukukwazi ukuhlukanisa/ukusebenzisa imizwa eyahlukahlukene.
 Ukukwazi ukunaka nesineke (concentration), ukuthuthuka kokusebenza komqondo
 Bazuza amakhono okukhuluma, okuxazulula izinkinga, ukuphimisa amagama, baqala ukufunda ngamakhonsepthi athile.
Lapha ngezansi i-literature ucwaningo olwenziwe ngokufunda, ukuzifundela nokufundiswa kwezingane kusetshenziswa
izincwadi. Itafula leli litshengisa ukuthi izingane zazuza amakhono nolwazi oluhlukahlukene kuya ngokuthi iyiphi indlela
eyayisetshenziswa ekufundeni nasekufundisweni ulimi, kuya nangomuntu ofundisa nofundela umtwana lowo incwadi.
Izimpawu zemibhalo yokufundisa isiZulu ulimi lwesibili

Izincwadi zokiufundisa ulimi lwesibili zinezimpawu zazo, ziwuhlobo lwazi uma uziqhathanisa nezincwadi zokufundisa
ulimi lokuqala. Ezinye zezimpawu zolimi lwesibili zihlanganisa ezibaliwe ngezansi, kubalulekile ukugqamisa ukuthi
okuzuzwa abantu abafunda ulimi lokuqala kuyafana nokuzuzwa abantu abafunda ulimi lwesibili, kodwa kuhlukene
ngamazinga akho. Okufanele kugqame ukuthi izincwadi, nezinhlobonhlobo ehlukene yokufundisa ulimi lwesibili

 Izinkondlo lolu hlobo lwembhalo luhlukile kulezi ezifundwa olimini lokuqala, lemibhalo incike futhi iphinde
ukusiza ukugqamisa imizwa yomfundi. Eminye yemibhalo esingayibala kungaba imilolozelo.
 Inoveli nomdlalo lolu hlobo lombhalo aluhlukile kakhulu emibhalweni yokufundisa ulimi lwesibili, kodwa ngoba
isezingeni Labantu abasafunda ulimi ukuze bekhulume inawo umehluko, njengokuthi:
o Njengoba abantwana besezingeni lokucabanga nokukhumbula besebenzisa kakhulu izizwa kanjalo imibala
nezithombe (bheka uPiaget), lolu hlobo lombhalo luncike noma lusebenzisa kakhulu izithombe ukuze zixoxe
indaba ezozwakala kalula kubafundi futhi ezoba nesithombe esigqamile, nendaba ezwakalayo kulowo
ofundayo.
o Nakuba ulwazimagama, izimiso nezakhi zolimi zibaluleklile lolu hlobo lombhalo lusebenzisa amagama
anganzima ukuwaqonda nokuwaphimisa kwazise phela izinga lolwazi lolimi namakhono akhona kusuke
kusephansi, ngakhoke kuyaye kube lula ukufunda lolu hlobo lwezincwadi.
o Nakuba isakhiwo senoveli siside kakhulu emibhalweni yolimi lokuqala, nasolimini lwesibili siba side kodwa-
ke ngokwezinga lomuntu osafunda ulimi lwesibili. Ibhalwa ibe mfushane ukuze izolandeleka kalula, iphinde
ilekelelwe izithombe ukuze ibukeke iyinde.
 Izimiso nezakhiwo zolimo kule ngxenye yolimi (ulwazi namakhona) kufundiswa ngama-workbook, bese abafundi
benikezwa imisebenzi yokuthi baqedele/bagcwalise izikhadlana ezithile ezishiywe umfundisi/uthisha.
 Ulwazimagama nakuba ulwazimagama luzuzwa ngesikhathi kufundwa eminye yalemibhalo engenhla kodwa
kukhona izincwadi ezimiselwe ukufundisa ulwazi magama kungabe zisebenzisa ukuhumusha (translation technique)
noma izithombe (visual literacy) noma kokubili. Eminye yemisebenzi eyenziwayo abafundi banganikezwa izithombe
namagama ezilwane bese Umsebenzi uthi abaqondanise igama lesilwane nesithombe, noma imibala, noma yini esuke
ifundwa ngaleso sikhathi ekilasini.
