NAME: Arat, Lovely R. & Tamayo, Lovely Nicole M.

COURSE: BSED – Mathematics 3

Proposed Title No. 1

TITLE:
"The Role of Peer Tutoring in Improving Mathematics Proficiency Among Grade 11 Students at
Colegio De Calumpit Inc."

Reason(s)/Justification(s) in Choosing the Topic:

The focus "The Role of Peer Tutoring in Improving Mathematics Proficiency Among Grade 11
Students" was chosen because it has the potential to improve academic performance through
collaborative learning. By bridging knowledge gaps, peer tutoring enables students to gain from
the clarifications and encouragement of their classmates, providing a more engaging learning
environment. Students in Grade 11 should get special attention because this year is critical for
establishing the mathematics abilities needed to prepare for a future career and higher education.
Also, investigating peer tutoring promotes inclusiveness and active engagement in education by
addressing a range of learning requirements. By adding to a set of knowledge on creative
teaching methods in mathematics, this study seeks to give educators practical advice on how to
successfully deploy peer tutoring programs. The overall goal is to encourage learners by
enhancing their mathematical competence and self-assurance through group learning activities.

Expected Contribution to the Growth of Knowledge in Education

A significant contribution to the field of education is expected from the study "The Role of Peer
Tutoring in Improving Mathematics Proficiency Among Grade 11 Students at Colegio De
Calumpit Inc." since it will shed light on how successful peer tutoring is as a strategy for
improving mathematical abilities. Through examining Grade 11 students, this study will
investigate how peer relationships can support learning and understanding in a topic that is
sometimes considered as difficult. Peer tutoring helps students become more engaged and
motivated and build critical thinking abilities. The results will assist in pointing out the precise
mechanisms via which this helps students. Additionally, by providing customized information
that can guide the development and execution of peer tutoring programs in comparable
educational contexts, this study will add to the body of existing material. The study's ultimate
goal is to support the inclusion of peer tutoring in the curriculum by showcasing how it may
create a cooperative learning atmosphere that helps students develop critical social skills in
addition to their mathematical aptitude.

TITLE: “Exploring the Impact of Interactive Education on Performance in Mathematics: A

Case Study of Attitudes and Study Habits Among Grade 11 Students at Colegio De Calumpit
Inc.”

Reason(s)/Justification(s) in Choosing the Topic:

"Exploring the Impact of Interactive Education on Performance in Mathematics: A Case Study of

Attitudes and Study Habits Among Grade 11 Students" was selected as the topic because
interactive learning is increasingly being acknowledged as an effective educational strategy. This
study attempts to explore how students' attitudes toward mathematics and their study habits are
influenced by interactive educational approaches, such as group projects and technology-
enhanced learning. Students in Grade 11 should get special attention because this grade is crucial
for developing the strong mathematical foundations needed for future education. Additionally,
educators looking to design more interesting and productive learning environments can benefit
greatly from knowing the connection between interactive education and student performance. By
providing actual information on the advantages of interactive education, this study seeks to add
to the body of knowledge already in existence and influence curriculum development and
instructional strategies. The ultimate objective is to encourage optimistic outlooks and better
study practices in mathematics, which will boost students' self-esteem and academic success.

Expected Contribution to the Growth of Knowledge in Education

The goal of the study "Exploring the Impact of Interactive Education on Performance in
Mathematics: A Case Study of Attitudes and Study Habits Among Grade 11 Students" is to
advance educational knowledge by offering based on evidence insights into the ways in which
interactive learning environments affect students' attitudes, study habits, and mathematical
performance. By focusing on eleventh graders, this study will explore the efficacy of several
interactive teaching methods, illuminating their function in improving motivation, engagement,
and mathematical comprehension. The results should help educators and curriculum developers
understand how to use interactive techniques most effectively, which will ultimately create a
more engaging and encouraging learning environment. This research aims to advance creative
teaching strategies that can result in notable gains in student performance and foster a more
positive attitude toward mathematics by bridging the gap between theory and practice.
