Ans. The heart is a muscular organ that pumps blood to all parts of our body.

1. Brain is known as the master organ of our body?


Ans. Brain is known as the master organ of our body because it controls the functions of
all other body parts.

VII. ANSWER THE FOLLOWING.

1. How does the tongue help us?


Ans. The tongue helps us to taste, chew, swallow and to speak.
2. How do the eyes help us?
Ans. Eyes help us to see and identify things by seeing their size, shape and colour.
3. What is the function of stomach?
Ans. The main function of the stomach is to breakdown and digest the food that we eat.

VIII. DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN EXTERNAL ORGANS AND INTERNAL ORGANS.

External organs are outside our body. Internal organs are inside our body.

We can see external organs from outside. We cannot see internal organs from outside.

eg:- Eyes, Ears, Leg, etc. eg:- Brain, Lungs, Stomach, etc.
