Day 1:- Arrive Sri Lanka. En route Visiting Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawala.
(Dinner)
 Welcome to Sri Lanka! Arrival at the Airport. Please clear immigration & visa formalities.
Thereafter you will be assisted to the Car park / Coach Park to begin your journey & transfer to
hotel in Kandy.
 En route visiting Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawala.
 Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage - At this orphanage you will find elephants of all ages which are
abandoned or otherwise unable to fend for themselves due to being injured. They are looked after
with loving care until such time they are ready to work or be freed back to the jungles. The unique
feature is that one could feed the baby elephants with bottles of milk during the feeding times. The
elephants are also bathed daily in a river located across the orphanage.

 After that transfer to hotel in Kandy & check in to the hotel.


 Indian Dinner at hotel.
 Overnight in Kandy.

Day 2:- Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden. City Tour of
Kandy

 Today after breakfast, get ready for Visit to the Kandy Temple.
 The temple is well known by the name, The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.

Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic:


 Ever since 4th Century A.D, when the Buddha's Tooth was brought to Sri Lanka hidden from
sacrilegious hands in an Orissan princess' hair, the Relic has grown in repute and holiness in Sri
Lanka and throughout the Buddhist world. It is considered Sri Lanka's most prized possession.
 En-route visit Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya. Royal Botanical Gardens - 147 acres in
extent: started in 1374 as a pleasure garden of the King’s of Kandy. There are more than 5000
species of tree and plants. Some and endemic as well as flora from the tropical world. Spice garden
and Orchid House are popular with Tourists.

 We will then continue with City Tour of Kandy.

City tour of Kandy:


 Kandy - the hill capital, venue of the annual Perahera. The last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings was
finally ceded to the British in 1815. Kandy is an example of the Buddhism's influence in Sri Lanka
today. Temple's shrines and monasteries keeping alive Buddhist traditions are everywhere.
 Later back to hotel. Dinner at Hotel.
 Overnight in Kandy.

Day 3:- Depart Kandy. Arrive Nuwara Eliya. Visit Tea Plantation & Factory.
Visit Seetha Amman Temple, Gregory Lake & Victoria Pak
(Breakfast & Dinner)
 After Breakfast, check out from the hotel and leave for Nuwaraeliya.
 Visit Hanuman Temple in Ramboda. Later Visiting a tea plantation & factory.
 Nuwara Eliya - The ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains,
Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. It is supposed to be one of the coldest places on the island,
where the air is pure, cool and distilled up through 1,884 meters; windswept peaks lie shrouded in
mist, while gaily clad tea pluckers wind their way among tea bushes listening to the wild music of
the water falls. This city complete with a Lake, Golf course and Race course ideal for hikes, golf,
horse riding and boating.
 Later continue to visit Seetha Amman Temple is located approximately 1 kilometre from Hakgala
Botanical Garden and 5 kilometres from Nuwara Eliya. The temple is located in the village of
Seetha Eliya.

 Later head towards Lake Gregory, sometimes also called Gregory Lake or Gregory Reservoir, is a
reservoir in heart of the tea country hill city, Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka. Lake Gregory was
constructed during the period of British Governor Sir William Gregory in 1873. The lake and the
surrounding area make up the Gregory Lake Area.

 Later visit to Victoria Park is a public park located in Nuwara Eliya, next to the Nuwara Eliya Post
Office in Sri Lanka. Originally the park was the research field of Hakgala Botanical Garden. The
park was formally named in 1897 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee.
 In the evening back to hotel & Indian dinner at hotel.
 Overnight in Nuwaraeliya.
Day 4:- Depart Nuwara Eliya. Arrive Bentota via Kithulgala.

 Today after breakfast, check out from the hotel and head towards Bentota via Kitulgala.
 Kitulgala is a small town in the west of Sri Lanka. It is in the wet zone rain forest, which gets two
monsoons each year, and is one of the wettest places in the country. Nevertheless, it comes alive in
the first three months of the year, especially in February, the driest month.
 Arrive Bentota. Bentota is a resort town on Sri Lanka’s southwest coast. Its long Bentota Beach
stretches north, where it becomes a sandy strip known as Paradise Island, parallel to Bentota
Lagoon. Coral-rich dive sites include Canoe Rock. On Bentota River, centuries-old Galapota
Temple has a large Buddha statue. Southeast is Lunuganga, the estate and gardens of architect
Geoffrey Bawa. Northeast is his brother Bevis's Brief Garden.
 Arrive & check in to the hotel in Bentota.
 Dinner at hotel.
 Overnight in Bentota.

Day 5:- Turtle Farm Hatchery & Boat Ride.

 Today after breakfast we will start our day with a visit to Turtle Hatchery & later proceed for
Boat ride on Madu Ganga.

The Turtle Farm Hatchery :


 Here you will find lots of information about Sri Lanka's pioneering sea turtle conservation project -
why Sri Lanka (and the village of Kosgoda in particular) is a prime turtle nesting site, why the
conservation project is needed and how the project is operated by local people with the help of
international volunteers.

 Later head towards Madu Ganga for a Boat Ride.

Madu Ganga for a Boat Ride :


 The estuary of the Madu Ganga river is a complex coastal ecosystem of mangroves and islands. It
may be one of the last remaining tracts of pristine mangrove forests in Sri Lanka.

 A boat trip is a wonderful way of seeing some of the hundreds of species of plants and animals –
monkeys eat fruit in the trees, a water monitor lizard glides slowly through the water, and
cormorants, egrets and kingfishers wait patiently on the banks, eyeing the water for prey.There are
around 64 islands in the river and lagoon, from a tiny speck housing a deserted shrine to one
housing 250 families connected to the mainland with a very long footbridge.You can visit an island
with a Buddhist monastery, where the friendly young monks will show you a 150-year-old book
made of palm leaves and how they cook on cinnamon wood on an open fire.
 In the evening back to hotel and dinner at hotel.
 Overnight in Bentota.

Day 6:- Depart Bentota. Arrive Colombo. Colombo City Tour with Shopping.

 Today after Breakfast you will checkout from your hotel in Bentota and transfer to Colombo.
 Arrive Colombo and proceed for City Tour of Colombo.

City tour in Colombo + Shopping :


 The City tour will be a drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the
tree-lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative centre and
military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where
is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating
back to 1749. Also visit the BMICH, see the replica of Avukana Buddha and Independence Square.

 After City Tour Check in your hotel.


 Rest of the time is free for leisure.
 Dinner at Hotel.
 Overnight in Colombo.

Day 7:- Depart Colombo. Arrive Home.

 Today after breakfast you will checkout from your hotel and head towards the Airport for your
