LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION

I am contented to be writing this letter of recommendation for a very astute and insightful student
Mr. Venkateswararao to support his candidacy into your esteemed university. I am glad to give a testimonial,
attesting the qualities and abilities to pursue his higher studies. I closely followed his progress in the classroom
for four years, during which I had an opportunity to judge his capabilities, personally as well as academically.

Having spent years with him as his professor, I found Mr. Venkateswararao genuinely a multi-tasker who
efficiently manages his tasks. He is good at time management as well. His attitude and enthusiasm towards
my course ‘Operations Research’ show how interested he is in the subject. He always posed doubts during the
class and actively participated as well. During his final year, I was also his project guide and observed him be
a devoted and diligent student. Mr. Venkateswararao has a keen sense of perception, clarity of goals, and the
constant urge for growth that distinguishes the outstanding from the average. His ability to organize time
efficiently and meticulous preparation will be an asset to any research team he joins. He has always been
thoughtful and attentive. Mr. Venkateswararao has immense potential and motivation for graduate studies and
is a student of high moral and ethical standards. He also maintains an excellent rapport with his peers and is a
team man. Further, I can tell you that he adheres to all-important deadlines, and I have witnessed him putting
in long hours on research projects and assignments.

Before doing any projects, he thoroughly researches the topic and analyses it, which is quite appreciable. He
has a commendable hand in communications and is well versed in English, because of which he excels in all
of his presentations. He proved his inherent talents in this direction by giving seminars and by participating in
symposia many a time. I had given him an opportunity to give a seminar in Deep Learning and Neural
Networks related to our project; it was an excellent and lucid presentation. His professionalism was evident
during it. Even though this topic is out of his academia, he performed well; this proves his caliber and
dedication towards his interest.

Considering his burning zeal for excellence and inborn drive for achieving the best, I strongly feel that Mr.
Venkateswararao is worthy of graduate study at your university. In my opinion, a student of his qualities
deserves admission into your esteemed university and is well worth of financial aid and maximum possible
assistantship, which he richly deserves. I assure you that he would exceptionally do well at your graduate
