NOTE
Sub: Preparation of Signal, Telecom & AFC Chapters for DPR for
Mumbai Metro Line-13 - Subash Chandra Bose Stadium (SCBS),
Bhayandar to Global City, Virar.
Ref: DMRC/GM(CS)/04/ ML-13/ DPR/2018/183 dated 06/05/2025
MMRDA has awarded LOA to DMRC for providing consultancy services
for preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR) for Mumbai Metro Line-
13 - Subash Chandra Bose Stadium (SCBS), Bhayandar to Global City,
Virar.
In view of above, respective chapters need to be prepared for above
mentioned corridor. Depot for the corridor shall be planned near Global
City station. Technical specifications for the MRTS corridor are as
below: -

1. Traction System shall be 25 kV AC OHE


2. Maximum Design speed of the rolling stock is to be kept 90 kmph
3. Coach width shall be 3.2 m

In view of preparation of DPR, GM/ BD team requested S&T department


(cp2) to prepare chapters of (i) Signalling & Train Control system and (ii)
Telecommunication & AFC system for the proposed corridor.
Therefore, Signalling (cp19) & Telecom-AFC(cp35) chapters for the
proposed corridor are enclosed separately as requested.
AGM/S&T-2 is requested to review and provide comments, if any
