7.0 Data Interface

Neuron II has two types of Data Interface

• Analog 0 to 5V

• DCS Port

7.1 Analog output

Two Channels are available as analog output. The First Channel will output the current
Discharge Pressure value 0.0 to16.0 bar, converted into 1 to 5V.

The Second channel is programmable. User can select any one of the following
a. Dis. Temperature 0 to 160 C, converted into 1 to 5V
(Even though the output is till 160 C, maximum value will be only 150 C)
b. Sump Pressure 0 to 16.0 bar, converted into 1 to 5V
c. Pt100 Temperature -75 to 85 C, converted into 1 to 5V
(Even though the output is -75 to 85 C, minimum value will be only -50 C)

7.2 DCS Port

DCS port can be of Modbus RTU type to interface to Generic DCS system or SCADA
type to interface to ELGI SCADA software. User can select the Port type in menu.
Also the Baud Rate, Parity, data Length, Stop Bit are user settable. The Modbus data
table is provided in the Appendix.
