Job Title: Sr Project Manager

About the Role:
The PMO Project Manager will be responsible for driving execution of implementation and ad-hoc project
delivery requests ensuring that these programs deliver on time with high quality, in accordance with stated
business and technical objectives using MRI’s standard implementation framework.
Responsibilities:
• Creates, optimizes, and drives structured schedules, resourcing and milestone project plans
• Sets and meets deadlines with quality deliverables, effectively adapting and modifying plans based
on changing data or conditions
• Assists in planning and ensuring that a project tracks to resources, timeframes, and budget
constraints
• Track open issues and effectively negotiate to impact decisions and trade-offs and to guide issues
within internal and external groups to resolution
• Manage multiple projects in varying size ranging from 8 weeks to 12 months
• Facilitates impact analysis activities where required to manage changes to scope, time and cost
following standard Change Control processes.
• Holds program team members accountable for their commitments, milestones, resources, and
deliverables
• Anticipates, identifies, documents, and manages key program risks, proposing appropriate
mitigation and contingency plans and communicates in a timely manner to stakeholders and
senior management
• Identifies program dependencies and tracks and reports on their progress
• Proposes workable solutions to problems by analysing business and technical trade-offs among
alternatives, and uses objective judgment and influence to formulate and drive consensus on
recommendations
• Frames communication and discussions for the intended audience, with appropriate context and
line of sight
• Ensures that the appropriate documents exist and are broadly communicated to drive shared
vision among the program teams
• Creates clearly understandable & actionable success criteria, objectives, and requirements and
communicates them to the team
• Conducts and effectively facilitates program team meetings to update status, and identify and
resolve issues
• Achieves quality results through strong team interaction, effective cross-group collaboration and
taking ownership of the success of the initiative
• Plan and manage all external project delivery activities using the standard MRI implementation
framework
• Full project financial management responsibility
• Preparation and submission of all reporting requirements underpinned by MRI Governance
Framework & Implementation methodology
• Engagement with the Professional Services Program Management Office ensuring accurate
reporting data is timely submitted, whilst also supporting the functions continued maturity.
Job Requirements:
• 7+ years’ experience working in complex SaaS software delivery environments
• Strong understanding and experience of project/program management principles
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle
• Strong experience in working with Professional Services accounting systems including (but not
limited to) time, cost and invoice management
• Strong planning acumen and self-starter that clearly prioritizes against delivery goals
• Communication strengths to anticipate needs and ensure teams have the information they need
to be effective, presents effectively to executives and cross-functional leaders
• Analytic & strategic thinking based on deriving insights from disparate pieces of information and
translating those insights into action and mitigation plans
• Strong decision-making skills despite ambiguous data and situations. Considers upstream and
downstream operational impacts as decision inputs. Balances long-term vs. short-term
objectives
• Detail-oriented and extremely organized, with proven ability to establish priorities and achieve
results with very strong communication skills
• Engaging and working with third Party Vendors ensuring timelines, costs and communications are
managed
• BA/BS in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related area, highly
regarded but not essential
• Project Management Professional certification
