TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION OF CAR BODY PROTECTION
The vehicles will be armoured to meet the specification EN 1522/1523 level FB6
(7,62 x 51 Nato Ball).

AREAS FB6 PROTECTED ARE 3600 AROUND THE VEHICLE, SIDES, WINDOWS
AND ROOF. FLOOR SECTION 4mm 500T STEEL

The car body is protected with 6mm Armox 500T ballistic steel, cut and shaped to fit the
cabin interior. Armox 500T is also used for overlap and door edges. Floor section is
protected with 4mm. Armox T500. Roof section is protected FB6 45° impact angle with
4mm Armox T500. Gasoline tank is protected with 4mm ARMOX 500T. Weight
armouring is calculated to aprx. 1.000 kgs. As option, the vertical sides of the car cabin
can be covered with an add-on spall-liner with 8x0,30 layers of Aramid Panels, as spall
liner, to meet IED’s and fragments (see option section).

PROTECTION
WINDOWS

All windows are made from bullet-proofed glasses designed to meet the same protection level as
the non-transparent modules. Thickness 39 mm. The glasses are fitted with an inner, anti-spall
liner SF to avoid any release of dangerous glass fragments into the cabin, if hit. The glasses will
also have black bands and dark tinting as original glasses. All glasses have identical size and
shape as the original glasses. Reinforced Window frames in steel, on all windows, to support the
window glass from mine blast attack.

FUSE BOX PROTECTION

The fuse box will be protected with the same level of armour as the rest of the car.
WINDOW HOIST

Driver’s window hoist is operated by the drivers’ door panel switch.

Driver’s window can be opened approx. 110mm only.

TIRES

RUN-FLAT TIRES inserts in five (5) wheels, advanced material compounds,

Lightweight, polyester elastomer materials provide maximum protection from breakage
following a ballistic attack. The proprietary material compound is strong enough to
support the load of fully armoured Toyota Landcruiser which will make driving possible
for 50 km at velocity of 50km/h, after tires are damaged by gun fire or other reasons.
DOOR HINGES

The original door hinges are upgraded with specially designed reinforced hinges that can
handle the added weight of the armoured doors.

DOOR STOPPERS

The original door stoppers are also upgraded with specially designed door stoppers that
can handle the added weight of the armoured doors.
SUSPENSION UPGRADE
Due to the extra weight load on the vehicle, the suspension must be upgraded. 2x
Coilspring Rear, 4 x Shock Absorbers, 2 x Stabilisators (front/rear), 2 x Torsonbars
(left/right front) will be changed. This will ensure the vehicle to be operated as a non-
armoured one.

BATTERY UPGRADE
OPTIMA® Yellow top

SEALED, VIBRATION RESISTANT, AND LEAK PROOF, EVEN WHEN BROKEN

In an OPTIMA battery, the lead plates and separator are wound and tightly compressed into a cell tube so
they can't move, shed, or break, even in severe shock and vibration applications. In independent SAE tests,
the OPTIMA kept working after being subjected to vibrations up to 5G for 12 hours. As in all AGM
TECHNOLOGY BATTERIES, there is no "free acid" that can leak out or spill and the OPTIMA can be
operated effectively in any position -- even upside down -- without any risk of leaking and because it is
sealed, no corrosion can form on the posts, connectors, or cables.
At DC Battery, we have been shown tests in which the a bullet is fired into an Optima leaving a huge hole
in the center. Even with the battery's interior exposed, there was no leakage and when placed into a vehicle,
it performed perfectly.
The OPTIMA is a sealed, maintenance-free AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) battery which exceeds the
cranking performance of all other batteries in its size category.

TAILPIPE PROTECTION
FIRE EXTINGUISHER SYSTEM – ENGINE ROOM (option for this delivery)

The 5 Litre AFFF System is required for the larger fire in engine area. This system is
mounted with two 8-foot lengths of aluminium tubing, all the required AN fittings.

Also includes a 2 Lbs. Fire Extinguisher for the cabin compartments.

Manufacturers Conditions

Warranty
British Armor Manufacturing International Inc. warrants to Customer that the Vehicles will be free from
defects in armoring material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one year from
the date of Demimpex invoice to end user. Customer’s exclusive remedy for breach of this warranty is that
British Armor Manufacturing International Inc. will either (i) repair or replace, at its option, any Product which
fails during the warranty period because of such defect (if customer promptly reported the failure to British
Armor Manufacturing International Inc. in writing) or, (ii) if British Armor Manufacturing International Inc. is
unable to repair or replace, British Armor Manufacturing International Inc. will refund the purchase price of
the Product upon its return to British Armor Manufacturing International Inc. This warranty does not apply to
any Product which has been subjected to misuse, abnormal service or handling, or which has been altered
or modified in design or construction, or which has been serviced or repaired by anyone other than British
Armor Manufacturing International Inc..
The warranties set forth herein are in lieu of, and exclusive of, all other warranties, express or implied.

Contingencies
British Armor Manufacturing International Inc. shall not be responsible for any failure to perform due to
unforeseen circumstances or to causes beyond British Armor Manufacturing International Inc.’s reasonable
control. Examples of such causes are acts of God, war, riot, embargoes, and acts of civil or military
authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labour or
materials. British Armor Manufacturing International Inc. may defer delivery for a period equal to the delay
caused by such contingency in the event of shortages for any reason whatsoever. British Armor
Manufacturing International Inc. may allocate production among its customers.

Limitation of Liability
Liability of British Armor Manufacturing International Inc. to Customer, if any, under this Contract for is
limited to the international ballistic standards as described in the given offer for this vehicle.
Following delivery of the vehicle(s) to the customer, British Armor Manufacturing International Inc. is not
responsible for any costs, incidental or consequential damages, or economic loss caused by any ballistic or
physical attack on the vehicle.
