The value of knowledge is shifting from the language of mathematics applied to empirical data
to language of sensitivities applied to experiences. Organisations focusing on user experience
and user sensitivities are delivering higher multiples for wealth creation. Apple, Google, Tesla,
Amazon and host of other such organisations have testified this hypothesis and have
successfully demonstrated their ability to maintain sustained growth in this volatile, uncertain,
complex and ambiguous world. These new age organisations are evolving new roles to drive
their mission. Such roles require professionals to be skilled in multiple disciplines such as
design, engineering, management, law etc. The era of the specialist seems to be coming to an
end. Technologies such as AI, ML, Robotics are capable of replacing the value offered by the
specialist. However imagination, creativity, empathy and innovation continue to be in the
domain of human beings.
Education needs to evolve quickly to enable future professionals to leverage their inherent
human abilities of imagination, creativity and problem solving. To achieve this objective,
University curriculums need to be more learner centric. The learning framework has to be
flexible and must grant the learner with the choice of programs/ courses, create the space to
learn by doing and provide an opportunity to discover oneself through immersions and
experiential learning.
Vijaybhoomi University has blended the best practices of liberal arts education with
professional education to create a liberal professional curriculum anchored on self discovery,

Curating unique learning pathways
through multiple intelligence framework
Vijaybhoomi University's approach to competency building is embedded in the Multiple
Intelligence Theory of Prof. Howard Gardner.

The unique liberal professional curriculum of Vijaybhoomi rests on “Discovery” and

“Choice”. In the first two years of a degree program, under the General Education
Framework, a student is steered to study a diverse range of subjects. This framework helps
a student discover one's intelligence and choose a pathway (in the form of degree/ major/
minor) to suit one’s unique intelligence.

For all students, the Multiple Intelligence Test (MIT, available on Vijaybhoomi website)
serves as the first step to self-discovery. This test has been designed for students studying
in grades XI and XII. The results of this test help students understand their strengths across
eight categories of intelligence which provides a strong indication towards their inherent
learning, behavioural, work styles and natural potencies.

Flexible Learning Pathways

Students can build their own learning pathways to graduate with a major of their choice,
and have the option to add additional majors or minors depending on their areas of
interest.
Our undergraduate degree architecture is built using a modular approach that provides
the freedom to choose courses across schools.

Admission Process
Step 1: The admission process starts with an online application on the University's website
www.vijaybhoomi.edu.in
Step 2: Successful completion of application form is followed by an auto-generated email
requiring the applicant to write Vijaybhoomi University Scholastic Aptitude Test (VUSAT). The
test can be written online. An applicant is required to have a laptop/desktop and a broadband
connection to write the VUSAT online.
Step 3: Upon attainment of qualifying marks, an applicant is invited to appear in the
Admission Selection Process (ASP) which involves interaction with a diverse Interview Panel
from the various Schools of the University.
Step 4: If an applicant is found suitable for selection in the ASP, a provisional offer letter is
issued to the candidate.
Step 5: The candidate is required to pay the registration fee and secure the admission.

Fee Structure
1. The program fee is based on a per credit pricing.
2. Every course is assigned certain number of credits. Every professional degree stipulates the
number of credits that a student has to acquire from various course baskets such as Foundation,
Core, Major, Minor, General Education (GE) and Personality Enhancement Program (PEP)
3. The tuition fee of the program is determined by the number of credits a student takes in
a given term multiplied by the price per credit summed up across all terms.
4. Each student is required to take a minimum load of 40 credits per year and hence the student
will be priced for 40 credits irrespective of the fact that the student chooses to take a reduced
load. However, if a student decides to take more than 40 credits in a year, the student will be
charged extra based on the extra credit load and the prevailing credit pricing.
5. Under normal circumstances a student would be able to graduate with a professional
degree by completing 40 credits load annually.
6. The per credit pricing for courses for students admitted in the academic year 2023-24
has been fixed at INR 10,000 per credit for Indian students and USD 150 per credit for
students of foreign origin.

Other Fee Payable by all Students (one-time payment)

• Students are required to pay Rs. 10,000 towards "Alumni Association" at the time of admission
• Students are required to pay Rs. 5,000 towards "Student Council Fund" at the time of admission

In - State Students and In State Tuition Fee

The limited instate student application will close on July 15th 2024. Instate students will be
permitted to apply under the normal category post this date up to the last date of admission.
To establish instate status the student will have to meet either of the following two criterion.
i. The applicant should be bonafide student of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)
board of Maharashtra. To establish eligibility the student will need to provide the HSC
marksheet and in the absence of the same will need to share the examination hall ticket
assigned by the HSC board.
ii. The student will need to provide proof of residence for atleast 5 years in Maharashtra. The
acceptable documents shall be either one of
a) Valid Voter Identification card from Maharashtra
b) Valid Ration Card with Proof of Residence
c) Valid Passport
And a letter from the school or Junior College located in Maharashtra certifying that student
has been studying in the institution for the last 5 years.
An established In State Student will be entitled to receive education at Vijaybhoomi
University at a special fee which is 50% of the normal credit fee. The special fee shall be
applicable only to the Tuition fee. All other fee will be charged as per normal charges.

Scholarship
1. Merit Cum Need Scholarship for EWS
This scholarship will be 100 percent and will cover tuition and hostel fees (Non-Refundable
Registration fees of Rs 50000
• To avail this scholarship the following criteria shall be observed:
• The family income of the candidate should not be more than Rs 8,00,000 (Rupees Eight Lacs)
• The candidate should have undergone the VU selection process and earned qualifying
marks prescribed for these scholarships and have been recommended by the ASP panel
and approved by the Dean. For grant of scholarship, a candidate must secure the
prescribed qualifying marks, as approved by the Academic Council
2. Defense Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded on a first cum first basis to wards of parents who are
employed by the Defence Services i.e. Army, Airforce and the Navy
• To earn this a candidate should have undergone the VU selection process and earned
qualifying marks prescribed for the merit scholarships and have been recommended by
the panel members in the ASP for both admissions and scholarship. For grant of
scholarship, a candidate must secure the prescribed qualifying marks, as approved by the
Academic Council.
3. Exceptional Sports/Performance Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded on a first cum first basis to either those applicants who have
represented their state or the country in any national or international sport event or those
applicants who have attained and can demonstrate proficiency in performing arts.
• To earn this a candidate should have undergone the VU selection process and earned
qualifying marks prescribed for the merit scholarships and have been recommended by
the panel members in the ASP for both admissions and scholarship. For grant of
scholarship, a candidate must secure the prescribed qualifying marks, as approved by the
Academic Council.
