With the weather getting warmer outside kids want to wear sandals to school. On these days please send in a pair of dosed toe shoes for when your child wears sandals. Remember to check and out your child's folders every night

language Arts This unit will focus its reading instruction what jobs people do in the community. on how these community Writing In writing we will continue to work on writing high frequency words from memory, sounding out words as we write and listening to the sounds in each word, and including details in our drawings and labeling what we do. with basic addition and subtraction. Science We have finished up our look at the 5 senses and will now use what we have learned to investigate our new science topic: Wood and paper. In this unit we will focus on how wood is used in the many materials in our world. We will continue to write in our science journals, pretending to be scientists as we investigate our world. Social Studies I Studies is really a focus this moth as we learn bout what impacts our world. We will touch on what it means to recycle and what it is important the earth. to take care of
