FLEXIBLE EPOXY-URETHANE GROUT FOR INJECTIONS

Field of use

SRS-B 1751 D is a two-component grout, solvent-free, modified epoxy-urethane. Fluid, slow-setting and
very flexible even at low temperature, it is suitable for the injection of sheaths of prestressed cables, and
strands of suspension and also the protection of anchorage tie rods.

Technical characteristics
Mix ratio in weight A/B: 25 / 75 Class / AFNOR T 36005: Fam.5 - Clas.2d
Theoretical dry extract: 100 % SHORE Hardness - at 7 days 15 ± 5
Density at 23°C: -A 1.12 ± 0.03 A (ISO 868): - at 14 days 20 ± 5
-B 1.02 ± 0.03 Elongation - at +20°C > 50 %
- A+B 1.04 ± 0.05 after 1 month: - at -10°C > 10 %
Viscosity at 23°C: - A 22 ± 5 - at -20°C > 2.5 %
-B 40 ± 10 Pot life (5 kg): About 5h
- A+B 35 ± 10 Colour: Amber

Conditions for application and support


The temperature of the support and the air at the time of application and polymerization should be above
5°C and below 40°C, with the moisture content of the air not above 95%, without condensation.

Steel must be clean and degreased.

Implementation
Mixing: Pour the whole content of container A into the container B. Stir mechanically at low speed (300
rpm) during 3 minutes, paying particular attention to the bottom and sides of the container, until a
homogeneous appearance.

Implementation: It is done by gravity casting or using injection pumps depending on the configuration of the
site.

At low temperature, it is advisable to warm SRS-B 1751 D in water bath to lower its viscosity.
Consumption
It will be 1.04 kg/litre fill.

Precautions in use - Containers - Storage

Refer to the safety data sheets. SRS-B 1751 D is delivered in pre-measured quantities, ready for use (refer to
our price schedule). It should be stored avoiding extremes of temperature, frost free and dry. Under these
conditions, SRS-B 1751 D will keep for 2 years in its original packaging.
