KEY HIGHLIGHTS
• Pithoragarh district was consistent in terms of improving its overall composite scores across the
years 2019-20 to 2021-22. In 2019-20 and 2020-21 it was in the Performer bracket and in 2021-22 it
progressed to the Front Runner bracket.
• The district consistently performed as the Front Runner in SDG 1, 5, and 15 across the years 2019-20
to 2021-22.
• In SDG 4 and6, the district was in the Aspirant category in the year 2019-20 and 2020-21 which
progressed to the Performer category in the year 2021-22. Similarly, in SDG 9, the district was in the
Performer category in the year 2019-20 which progressed to the Front Runner category in the
subsequent years.
• In SDG 16 the performance of the district descended in 2021-22 in comparison with the previous
years.
