I, ASO Walker, arrived on scene at 3220 E 80th St to assist an agency officer on a call at appro imately 11 45 pm on 11/02/24 When I arrived there
was a large LEO presence and six aggressive canine contained inside the property at 3216 E 80th with a lock on the front gate.
Police on scene stated two victims had been transported to the hospital and that one of the victims was going into surgery. There was confusion as
to who the owner of the canine was however a man on scene named John Thibeau Sr had the key to the padlock The LEO decided to gain a
warrant to try and seize the animals and we waited for the go ahead from the Interim Chief LaDue.
Once we had the go ahead, I was able to capture one male red Pitbull type canine and put it in my truck. The other canines were trying to attack
through the fencing and through another attempt to gain control of another Pitbull type canine, it and another Pitbull type canine forcibly grabbed my
catchpole and ripped it out of my hands and into the yard.
There were five canine total on the property and only one was tethered to the tree in the front yard after I gained control of the one canine in my
truck The canine were too aggressive to safely capture It was decided by the LEOs to make an attempt the ne t day with staff that could possibly
sedate the canine.

I officer Lysaght arrived on scene to see one fire truck, one ambulance aswell as three cop cars on scene. I noted
multiple officers walking around with shot guns once I was out of my vehicle. The cops explained to me 5 pitbull
mix type dogs were at large and attacked a pedestrian as well as the neighbor. I was unable to gather any
information on both victims because of ems transportibg them off scene. I explained to the officers that I was
unable to take the dogs because of a locked gate to which they requested to speak with my supervisor. The
police escalated the scene and performed a search warrant alongside the swat team and k9 team later on in the
night. We were able to capture one of the dogs however we were unable to capture the 4 remaining dogs. After
the swat team used pepper spray on the dogs they no longer were coming to the fence and we were unable to
gain entry to the property safely and the scene was cleared. With only one dog impounded.

present Richter also informed us that the case may be handed to their "Cold Cases" unit due to the death of the victim Richter informed me that he
should be able to let us know within a few hours who will be handling this case on their end due to the death of the victim.
