The given pictures depict certain aspects of driving and
pedestrians. Regarding the first one, on the left, we can see
that a middle-aged man with blue shirt is driving a car.
However, he has not fastened his seat belt, which is against
the rules. In the second image, a pedestrian crossing is
shown. As there are many people crossing the road, we can
say that this is a busy street in a city.

The picture illustrates a time when four young people
are having fun. They are all sitting on the grass in an

The same could be true for the boys as well, who are
probably finding it quite enjoyable. Seeminglys, all
these people are friends on a picnic.

Full Report for MAPS
Introduction
The two maps describe how a town called Lakeside changed over
nine years, between 2000 and 2009.
Overall, the city was mainly a residential and an underdeveloped
industrial area in 2000, but it was turned into a more modern
place, with new facilities for education, shopping and
entertainment.
Starting off with the northern part of Lakeside, on the far-left
corner, there was a residential area in 2000, which remained intact
for the following nine years. On the right of it, a Derelic
warehouse could be found, but it was demolished and replaced
Abror Rahmatullaev Multi-Level Record
by a car park. The old town on the south of the warehouse was
also removed to make way for new offices and a university
campus. On the west, there was an art center in 2000, and it was
repurposed to be used as a cinema in 2009. School, which is in the
center of the town, was still at its own place.
As for the southern part of Lakeside, we can see a river running
from south to the north, with a lake on its northern mouth. The
only change in this water feature was that the lake was turned
into a pond. There was another residential area on the left of the
map, and it was destroyed to introduce a new shopping center. Of
a particular note is that the industrial complex and a residential
area on the south-east were both removed, and a new, a more
multi-faceted industrial complex were developed.

Punishment is necessary for children to discipline them.
• To what extent do you agree or disagree?

TR – 7.0 / CC – 7.0 / GRA – 8.0 / LR – 8.0
I think the role of punishment in rearing children is indeed pivotal.
This is because it can show the consequences of a wrong action
or disobeying. When children are punished for their bad behavior,
Abror Rahmatullaev Multi-Level Record
they come to realize such an action is not tolerated in society.
This acts as a deterrent for them and next time, they will think
twice before committing the same action again. If it were not for
punishing children, they may probably continue doing similar
wrong actions and showing ill-behavior, which may have a
negative impact on their psychology and conduct.

• To what extent do you agree or disagree?
• What punishment types could be suitable for children?
Punishment seems to be essential in nurturing children so that they
can learn the distinction between right and wrong. I believe this
idea makes sense for some reasons, and regardless of punishment
types, they should strictly be non-physical.
I think the role of punishment in rearing children is indeed pivotal.
This is because it can show the consequences of a wrong action or
disobeying. When children are punished for their bad behavior,
they come to realize such an action is not tolerated in society. This
acts as a deterrent for them and next time, they will think twice
before committing the same action again.
If it were not for punishing children, they may probably continue
doing similar wrong actions and showing ill-behavior, which may
have a negative impact on their psychology and conduct.
Regarding the sorts of punishment methods, they should exclude
physical harm. To explain, punishing children physically often
causes not only harm to their body, but this can also lead to
mental disorders. Having been hit, for example, for their
wrongdoing, children may have aggressive feelings in their minds,
which can later worsen even more. Instead, there are some
available punishments for children that do not involve physical
harm. One of them could be confiscation, taking valuable objects
of children, like their smartphones or toys, for some time as a
means of punishing. Detention can also be an effective and
suitable way of punishment, not allowing children to go out and
Abror Rahmatullaev Multi-Level Record
play, but just making them stay at home. These methods are not
physical, yet can produce its expected results.
In conclusion, the idea that punishing children is important seems
to be justifiable as this can help children to be disciplined. In
terms of punishing methods, they should be non-physical, and
confiscation along with detention could be two suitable and
applicable punishments means for children.

• Despite (G) – garchi + Noun / Ving
• most significant drawback
• Apparent upsides – obvious advantages
• Abolition – prohibition – ta`qiqlash
• Degree of disapproval
• Moral objections
• Capital punishment – death penalty – legal execution
Despite the apparent upsides of the death penalty, there are
millions of people who support the abolition of capital
punishment. The most common reasons for such a degree of
disapproval are usually moral objections, with people often
referring to legal executions as ethically wrong. Taking a life,
regardless of any circumstances, appears to be uncivilized for a
progressive part of society, which is probably why more than a
hundred countries already abolished the death penalty, leaving
life imprisonment as the most severe punishment a convict can
get.
The last major talking point is the likelihood of wrongful penalties,
which many cite as the most significant drawback to using the
death penalty. As history shows, there are certain cases where
innocent individuals are mistakenly punished for what they have
never done, and in the imaginations of some people, similar faults
can lead to mistakes in using the death penalty, too.
Abror Rahmatullaev Multi-Level Record
In summary, capital punishment presents convincing advantages
and disadvantages, which will likely cause more controversy in the
short and long-term future.

Describe a time when someone thanked you
• When was it?
To be honest, I don’t often receive thanks
as I am so active at helping people.
However, this topic has reminded me of a
time when a complete stranger thanked
me a lot. If I am not mistaken, this must
have happened around two weeks ago.
• Who thanked you?
The person was a middle-aged man, who was from a foreign
Asian country. Two days before we met, he had lost his wallet
which included his passport, driving license and a decent amount
of money. It was the first time that I met him when he thanked,
meaning that I had not known that person before.
• Why did they thank?
I was just walking to my study center at street, and I suddenly
found a black wallet lying on the ground. I asked for people
around about the wallet, whether it belonged to them or not, and
even waited there to hand the wallet back to its owner for around
Abror Rahmatullaev Multi-Level Record
one hour! However, after not being able to find the owner, I left
my number to a nearby street-seller to give it if anyone asks
about a lost wallet. Two days later, I received a phone call, and the
owner described the possessions inside clearly and I returned it
back, for which he thanked for.
• How you feel about it?
At the time, I felt a real sense of self-satisfaction as I was able to
help a person with honesty. He thanked me a lot for not returning
his wallet back, but mainly for what I have done – trying to find
him, not damaging the possessions and not expecting anything in
return.

helping people. However, this topic has reminded me of a time

➢ Ask yourself WHY and HOW questions?
This is because art is an essential element to foster student`s
creativity and imagination, as well as shaping their problem-solving
skills.
➢ Introduce the second idea
Moreover, art classes can be a good tool for schools to promote
cultural heritage of the nation.
➢ Explain (HOW and WHY) the second idea

Do books continue to exist in the future?
(D) I think this can happen sometime in the future. (E) The reason
is that we can now see that e-books are becoming increasingly
popular, replacing the role of books and even libraries due to
their convenience. (Idea 2) On top of that, books are not
environmentally-friendly as they require cutting trees for its raw
material – paper. (E) Considering this, it is likely that books may
not be produced at some point in the future, and this is only my
guesses.
How has shopping changed in recent years?

Well, there have been significant changes in the way people shop
these days, mainly due to the increasing prevalence of online
shopping.
- Explanation
Unlike in the past, a growing number of people are opting for
shopping via the Internet by enjoying the comfort of their homes,
saving their time and energy.
- Example
For example, in my case, I just ordered a ping-pong table from an
online platform, named Uzum Market today, which was very
convenient and time-saving.
- Alternative idea
If online shopping had not emerged, we would probably have to
browse the shops when we need products.
