3D Zone:
This component is connected hydraulically at the same channel in which is connected the
Power Clean device and the shower.
To remove and re-fix it it is necessary to follow the same steps used for the Power Clean
because it is hooking in the same way.
When it works, it wash using the same concept that Power Clean but the jet will go in
vertical direction <from bottom to the top>.
The shower is part of this technology because helps to wash from top to bottom.
3D Zone will works each time customer will set the shower.
Important:
In the IFU is declared that for use this device the customer must select the dedicate
function and say that it is compatible only with “intensive” and “normal” programs
but, in reality, it will works each time water will be sent to the shower.

Componets:
Noising 39 db:
To reach this goal, it was necessary add some insulations panels in differents
parts of the machine (see pictures), for example inside the basement, in the
inner surface of the outer door.
Others insulation must be installed, for example: insulation between the tub and
side panel or in case machine is installed with plinth aligned with the door (see
left side pictures).
Declaration 39db required “all those topics done”, otherwise noise level
will be over the target. Declaration was done with wooden panel and plinth
aligned and with a gasket between these two components as you can see
in the side picture (flush installation)

3 - Industrial Code: it is the versioning of the product;
IMPORTANT: The industrial code has to be used in order to search the documentation in the systems.
NOTE: when you enter the Industrial code, both in Servicenet and in WeDoc, do NOT write the “W”
before numbers.
The I.C. in the label A has the old format already used in Indesit factories;
The I.C. in the label B has the new format with 12 numeric digits, made up as follow
Points 3 and 4 are related to the programming of the mainboard by the Tools (Memwriter and ESAM);
5 - F… code: it is the old commercial code of Indesit, today it is used only from UK and Russia market;
6 - old serial number: it has 9 digits and it is used only from UK and Russia market; it is useful to identify
the month of production (second and third digits) and the production day (fourth and fifth digits)

Products documentation research:
Currently the rule is to look for the documentation according to the product Brand:
The Industrial Code must have 11 or 12 digits and must be only numeric (if you find the “W” in the
label, it is mandatory to remove it);
New industrial codes with 12 digits created from January 2017 start with 76* or 75*.
In case of research through WeDoc, system will check in ServiceNet if the Industrial code exists, and in
case of presence the link appears in the same screen (3);

Products involved
Possible faults
Preliminary points
Where possible, water or steam leakages from the door seal must be
verified in person.
Water/steam leakages are classed as a fault when they produce a visible amount of steam,
with resulting water deposits, in the areas of the:
door flange (photo1) worktop area (photo2) floor (photo3)
On the contrary, a small amount of steam escaping from the appliance and dissipating
without leaving condensation is not to be considered a fault. It is normal for the appliance to
emit small puffs of steam at 60 -70 C which then clear in the air.
Any leakage of suds caused by improper use of detergents or the use of rinse aid directly in
the tank rather than the dispenser must not be considered an appliance fault.
In the event of leaks, the manufacturer will not be responsible for any damage to the
worktop if at the time of installation the latter was not protected with the protective film
supplied, (photo4)
in any case, inform the customer of the installer's shortcomings and apply the film. (photo5)
The adhesive film also protects against steam during regular appliance operation: ( e.g.:
door opening and closing during operation or at the end of a wash cycle)
1/4
Title : Water/ steam leaking from door seal
1.1.1 the dishwasher is not resting properly on the support feet, it is warped.
1.1.2. the dishwasher is “ jammed” inside the housing unit, resulting in warping.
1.1.3 the door does not close properly, the wooden doors cause an obstruction (movement must be
unhindered)
1.1.4. the door is deformed (fit the panel and fix the warping by hand)
Checks: check the mark left by the seal on the edge of the stainless steel door. (photo5)
Clean the seal and the edge of the stainless steel door, lightly brush the seal with grease or thick soap. Close
the door so that the lock engages, do not press shut, re-open the door and check the mark left by the seal,
which must be centrally aligned and constant.
Action: install the dishwasher correctly in the housing unit so that nothing is jammed or deformed. Adjust the
height using the adjustable feet so that the weight is evenly distributed over all feet.
Important! Warping of the tank during installation is the leading cause of a leaking seal.
For EOS :
Important! Silicone is not required on EOS models.
The particular seal is designed to guarantee:
watertight seal at side (between surround and tank) + watertight seal around door (edge and door)
Any silicone applied could have a negative effect on the final positioning of the seal, deviating it from the sealing
edge.
Laboratory and usage tests have shown that leaks are always between the edge and the door, never between
the surround and the tank.
P.s. in the event that inspection carried out, based on considerable personal technical experience, still indicates
the application of silicone between the surround and the tank in an EOS model, apply only a minimum amount,
spreading and flattening it well to AVOID the formation of lumps which might “lift” the seal from its seat.
2/5
Title : Water/ steam leaking from door seal
For EVO3: replace the seal code C00141317, fit it naturally into the surround section so that it is well
extended at the corners, ensure the length at the bottom is identical on the right and left.
4. insert the seal in the surround section, starting from the bottom (right or left), ensuring the seal touches
the bottom of the tank (photo9)
5. it is vital to insert the seal WITHOUT STRETCHING IT, at the corners this will prove more difficult
because of the reduced dimensions of the surround section, in this case fit the seal one centimetre at a
time, but without stretching it!
Final checks: check the mark left by the seal on the edge of the stainless steel door.
Clean the seal and the edge of the stainless steel door, lightly brush the seal with grease or thick soap. Close
the door without pressing it shut, re-open and inspect the mark left by the seal, which must be centrally aligned
and constant
3/4
Title : Water/ steam leaking from door seal
2.2 seal on bottom of door detached from bottom of tank (only EVO3)
2.2.1 Reattach the seal to the bottom of the tank and, if not present, fit
the support springs code: C00140679 (see previous TN)
2.2 door surround seal does not touch the bottom on one side (only EOS)
2.2.1 Fix the door surround seal
so that it touches the bottom at both the right and left. (photo10)
2.2.2 Check that the seal along the bottom of the door has not become detached,
if it has, replace the door

Problem -
Lower basket wheel contacts with the door seal, causing it to be pulled out of its’ locating
channel in the tub.
Action -
From Serial No. 4516xxxx to 452104xx fit service kit C00632576. This kit is made of
2 plastic clips (shown below) to add to the lower basket that will prevent contact with the
door seal.
After Serial No. 452104xx no action is required as the tub embossment dimension has
been adjusted by a few millimeters to solve the problem.
Fitting: The same part is used for left and right side, but are fitted in the opposite direction and
it is important they are fitted correctly. See the detail highlighted in Yellow below.
There are fitting instructions included with the kit.
Problem -
Lower basket falling down from the track into the tub when being pushed in or pulled out .
Action -
Replace the Wheels and pins to the later type - refer to the table below for part numbers /
colour differences.
Each Kit is made of 8 wheels and 8 wheel supports (pins) for the Lower basket.
It is also possible to order single wheels and wheel support pins.
It is recommended to also examine the Lower Basket because the wheel wire it clips to can
bend when it falls.
If damage is obvious, or if the wheel kit has not been successful, then a new Lower Basket
should also be ordered along with the Wheel kit. Refer to Servicenet for basket part
numbers.

Error Code F01 - Water Leakage into the Base – Checking for Leaks
Problem
Water leakage into the base is detected by the float switch and shown on the display as F01.
Action:
1. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
2. Tilt the appliance about 30° in order to have hands free access to the latches securing the base flap. (Photo 1.)
(CAUTION: You must not tilt the appliance more than 45° as there is risk of electrical component flood).
Unclip the latches to check for the presence of water in the base and perform a visual inspection of the following
components: Drain Pump, Sump, Main Motor, Alternating Diverter Valve, Drain Hose, Clamps, Rubber Pipes
(Photo 2). Unfasten float switch and check the presence of foreign objects under the float switch. Ensure the
connector is pushed fully home. (Photo 3).

- If a leak is detected, swap the faulty component and/or adjust any poor connections (pipes, clamps etc.…).
- If water is present but a leakage source has not been detected, dry the appliance base and use the leak
detection sheet (instructions below) in order to perform a functional leakage test.
- If water is not present and a leakage source has not been detected, and use the leak detection sheet in order to
perform a functional leakage test.
The leak test paper is reusable (more than 20 usages for 1 sheet)

DETECTION SHEET for 45 CM - C00728072
TO PERFORM A LEAKAGE TEST:
Place the paper on the base flap, refit the base and ensure the appliance is returned to its upright position.
Run the Intensive cycle to fill the machine - approximately 10 minutes. After the cycle has run for a few
minutes longer, check the paper condition. It should be possible to identify the leakage source area from water
stains on the paper and repair as necessary.
If no leaks are found you should consider testing the float switch for continuity or as a final option replacing the
power board. Potential leakage sources have been listed on the second page. See page 2.
IMPORTANT! Make sure the appliance is disconnected from the power supply before
doing anything, other than when undertaking specified observational checks Page 1 of 2
