Making Decisions: An entrepreneur makes decisions everyday. This includes what to
produce or sell, how much and where to sell.
Managing the Business: An entrepreneur plans the future of his or her business.
He/she arranges for raw material, hires people for work and tells everyone what to do.
They also check if the plan is being followed.

Divide Income: The entrepreneur divides the business money into many groups.
He/she spends money to buy material, pays rent of the building and salaries to people.
Taking Risk: Risk is the chance of something going wrong. An entrepreneur takes
risks against fires, lost items and theft.
Create a new Method, Idea or Product: An entrepreneur is always trying new things.
He/she does this to increase their importance and income.

Answer – Difference between relative and absolute are –
a. Relative Reference – In a spreadsheet, the default cell reference is relative. It’s
only a combination of column name and row number, with no dollar ($) sign in
8 between. When you copy a formula from one cell to another, the relative reference 2
changes.
b. Absolute Reference – The dollar ($) sign is put before the column name and row
number in an absolute reference cell. When copying a formula from one cell to
another, the absolute reference will not change.
a. Spreadsheet – Spreadsheet is a software used to organize data in rows and
columns and conduct calculations on it. It also stores, manipulate, and create

b. Worksheet – The collection of sheets is known as Worksheet. Worksheets are
similar to notebooks and contain numbers, characters and special characters.

When we start typing, the cell begins active. Only the active cell can be used to enter
data.
To delete contents in Cell –
Select the cell or cells and right-click on it, then select delete. The contents in the
selected cell or cells will be deleted

The five components of a chart in a spreadsheet package are as follows:
Chart area : The chart area is the background behind all elements of the chart. It
includes area and the objects in the chart.
Chart Title : It describes the aim and contents of the chart. It is used to display any
11 title information regarding the visualized chart. 4
Plot Area : It is a window within the Chart area. It contains the actual chart itself, and
includes plotted data, data series, category, and value axis.
Legend : It depicts the colours, patterns or symbols assigned to the data series. It helps
to differentiate the data.
Category Axis : Category axis or X- axis is the horizontal axis of a chart.
Answer – The three statistical functions in a spreadsheet.
