The Company at a Glance

PT. Pelayaran Fortuna Nusantara
Megajaya was established in 2009 as a
company that provides dredging services
for maintaining canal, port and capital
dredging.
We believe that the local dredging sector in Indonesia is looking forwards an
exciting and lucrative future. Our goal is to be the trusted and reliable
dredging service provider in Indonesia that can contribute to the
advancement of water transportation access in the area where we operate.
We are excited to be part of the sector that can make significant contribution
to economic growth in Indonesia in general.

Our operation is supported by professionals and experienced crews with

appropriate licensing to ensure optimum and efficient performance. We
believe that our people are important assets for our long term and
sustainable success.

Our Fleet
In 2015, our company saw a
milestone when we obtained our
own sophisticated vessel, BARITO
EQUATOR, a Trailing Suction
Hoppper Dredger (TSHD) 2500.
In the first years of operation, we started our business with a
chartered vessel from our partner, including PSP 1 from
Malaysia, Costa Blanca from the Netherlands, and Brage R from
Denmark.

Barito Equator is 80-meter long vessel with a capacity of 2,500

m2. Barito Equator is a notable vessel to Damen as it is the
largest standard TSHD built to date.

During the construction, Damen Technical Cooperation assist-

ed the process, Damen Shipyards Gorinchem provided the
engineering, Damen Dredging Equipment provided the com-
plete trailing dredging system and Damen Marne Components
delivered the components including gearbox and rudder.

Barito Equator is dual classed, Bureau Veritas ( BV ) and BKI (

Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia ). Our Vessel is complied with the
International Safety Standards and regulations.

In February 2023 another sophisticated vessel,

KRAKATOA, a Cutter Suction Dredger ( CSD ) 650 has
been completed the construction. The aforementioned
vessels have been built at Damen Shipyards in the
Netherlands.

The CSD Krakatoa will be the largest Cutter Suction

Dredger in Indonesia and will be able to reach incredible
dredging depths. It is fitted with a 700 kW cutter head
which can work in water depths up to -25 m.

Like the TSHD Barito Equator, this CSD Krakatoa is also

dual classed, Bureau Veritas ( BV ) and BKI ( Biro
Klasifikasi Indonesia ) and complied with the
International Safety Standards and regulations.
